i am burned out of the same ole comments ref police and the annexation. Its time to move on to more important matters ref saving the city. bm IS nice, but life isnt so easygoing anymore. The flowers, the trees, the river, the market r all great to promoting the small town atmosphere, but will not preserve the small town goverment as there r too many challenges facing the residents of bm.

the chief of police an-or his crew are behind every issue facing the city

After reading most of the comments about byrnes mill, I have to agree with this one. It looks as if the chief and the police department are behind all the issues the city faces, I don't thank the chief cares anything about the people of byrnes mill, only about himself. I haven't seen much of him lately which that is
good, you can only stand to talk to him for so long. I had to stop trading with the shell station on W. every time you went in there Locke was there telling one of his long tales.

spell check? POLICE.

I do agree, chief has his son on payroll, look at the problems he has/had In Belle Villa (sp). There are a couple cops who need replaced. City needs Gary back as chief.

Don't know how much better Gary was as chief, but the people her in town liked him a lot more then they do this Locke. And that what it takes to get along in a small town like BYRNES MILL.

I like the drunk guy down the street, guess he should be police chief since I like him. Does everyone forget the reputaion the police had all started when Gary was chief.
