it seems like someone is getting busted for drugs all the time, keep up the good work guys! maybe they will quit or move on down the road. IF i used drugs and got caught and IF my picture was on the front page i could not look people in the face around here anymore. great job be safe.

I think anytime someone is arrested in PickettCo. druggies,DUI,B%E ect.put there picture on the front page

I agree with Deputy Dog they need to put all the offenders on the front page,also they need to put the court docket in the paper too!

No not a felon just know a bit of law. Everyone IS innocent of what they are accused of unless they are convicted.

While I agree with putting the pictures in the paper it does NOT necessarily mean all these people will be found guilty or even go to trial.

Will the paper print a retraction if/when the charges are dropped? I've never seen that.

Me Either. They are happy to put peoples Picture on the fornt page when they get arrested for a crime that they are "innocent' of but when they go to court the verdict is not posted in the paper. These people could be innocent but their lives are ruined in this town. People get on here and praise the paper for humiliating these people who could be innocent. ARE till proven otherwise. Wait till they are tried then post pictures.

If they were innocent they wouldn't be in a meth house with drugs in their posession. Just because they are not always convicted doen't mean they weren't guilty, just that their lawyer got them off on a technicality or they took a lesser plea. Nothing innocent about ending up in trouble over and over again. I'd rather know than not know who is messing with that garbage so I know who to stay away from! Those of us who don't know all that is going on appreciate a little info.

I believe you are refering to burton. He has not went to court for either. so It sounds like you are saying he is guilty of the first charge because he was in the paper and hes back in the paper so he's guilty again. Dana is a good sherrif. but ALL these people arrested are presusmed guilty by the public and the verdict is not posted even if they are innocent. just because they are arrested does not mean they are guilty.

and everyone deserves to have their court verdect in the paper also if their picture is on the front page for an arrest. sounds like you are saying because someone was arrested that means they are guilty. mistakes happen. people do get wrongly accused. I am not saying about anyone in particular just everyone in general. So and so was found guilty, so and so was found innocent. but I guess that does not matter. I just care if they were arrested. thats all I need to know. GUILTY! Those of us that dont know what's going on appreciate ALL the info.

I have never seen any case verdects. Only the arrest. I see ALOT of people defending that. they dont want to know if someone was found innocent. That's not gossip enough for them I guess.
