Its another sad day for Pickett County when our great County Mayor doesn't even know the protocal to introduce a setting United States Senator. Then to everyone's surprise the great Jabba the Hill stands and makes his proclamation. Some people would be better off just to keep their silly mouths shut! I was truly embarrassed for this county!

I am a redneck and I understood what Max is saying. Just because we live in the smallest county in the state and we're from the south don't mean "all" of us are stupid. Bob Corker - one of the two republican senators from Tennessee. County Mayor aka county executive. Jabba the Hill retired editor of the Pickett Press. Apparently Corker had a town hall meeting here and the other two mentioned made an ass of themselves. Glad I wasn't there!!

Dear Old, How did Corker vote against the old ppl? Please explain. He is against the current health care bill which passed congress. This bill would remove 550 Billion from Medicare. If this much is removed, Medicare will no longer exist. Now, can you guess which program pays for the majority of our OLD ppl's health care? Can you?
Let me point out something to you. Obama supports abortions even late term. This is nothing but supporting murder. He also supports gay rights. He wants gay people to be able to flaunt this lifestyle to everyone. He wants them to have more rights than straight people. Think not? Just read the law he signed this year.
Now, Bob Corker doesn't support either thing I've just mentioned. If Corker is going to hell, I'm sure there will be someone there that he knows. Can you guess who it is. Also, you if supported Obama like SoB, DoG and Jabba the Hill, you support Obama's policies. You can not support Obama and not be for higher taxes, destruction of Medicare, gay rights and abortion. He ran on these policies. If you voted for him, you agree with him. Everybody needs to know that our "key" leaders in this county support this immoral stuff. Ask them if they voted for him. I would like to hear SoB, DoG and Jabba the Hill say in public they didn't. And guess who else supported Obama? Our great State Misrepresentative and our even greater Congressman. We have people that support immoral acts in office. Its time to wake up people! Just ask them! I bet you can find the big 4 SoB, Dog, PiG and Jabba all in church today professing their faith. My question is how can a Christian support Obama? Think about it!

Max them making an ass of themselves is not at all a shock, that is very easy for a Dumbass(s) to do! Could you be more specific as to what happened in the Senator Corker situation? After all this is a little more complicated than his "Waterboy" days! At one point the pictures in the press had slowed down, but as of late there he is again with that STUPID STUPID STUPID grin declaring air day or smog day or I wish he would just go ahead and declare DUMBASS WATERBOY day or I love my UGLY-ASS (DOG) commissioner day. These could be humorous and most of all TRUE.

I agree, we should have sillyass grin day every week. Its pitiful when you look at the paper and see the same STUPID grin week after week.
Its ironic that you should mention Waterboy! I watched that movie again a week or so ago. I must say, I agree with you. SoB sure needs to be in a sequeal!
When SoB introduced Senator Corker, it was apparent he had no knowledge of how to introduce someone of Corker's stature. It was obvious he wasn't pleased to be there. Now, if it had been our congressman or state misrepresentitive, he would have had to have a roll of Bounty to wipe the drool off that sillyass grin!
Jadda as usually wanted to pronounce to everyone that he was the smartestass in the room! Who wouldnt agree with that?

I think the next time someone drives around the courthouse and sees SoB standing there with his hands in his pockets and wearing his sillyass grin, they will think there is a gay rights, pro-tax, pro-abortion, liberal Obamacrat!

You have missed my whole point! I don't have a problem with the gays. I don't believe their lifestyle denotes more rights for them than the rest of us. We have laws that protect people, all people. They do not deserve any more rights than anyone else. I agree, a woman can do whatever she wants with her body! Go to it!. But, she doesn't have the right nor does anyone to end the life of an unborn child. If the child has a heartbeat, it has life. Maybe you need to watch a video of how a child struggles to live as it's being aborted. You might change your mind. Now, here are some complications for you. We are told we can't smoke. We have to wear a seatbelt. We can't drink and drive. We have to drive a speed limit. All of the things can take a life and have taken many. But, for all you liberals its ok to tell us what we can do, but when it comes to abortion, that unborn child has no rights. Who knows, that child just might be the person who finds the cure for cancer or MS or CF or AIDS or even the common cold. But, as a society that fears the consequence of speaking out, we allowed that child to die unborn. Now, do you understand my problem?

I agree with with some of what you say above. One of the reasons I live in the area is to get away from all that stuff. Some of the above statements got me thinking, If you look at him long enough with that "SWEET" grin, what if that was taken as some kinda invite? As for him being annoyed, he probably was, its almost official waterboy time and there's probably a scrimmage game or something going on up at the gym. Whats wrong with you people, them players gotta have that high quality h2o?

Hey, Max he's not the only obama supporter if I remember correctly there were around 900 pickett county obama supporters. Never thought I would see that many people support a muslim - but hey we are talking about a bunch of yellow dog democrats in this town.

Show us proof where Obama has made a statement supporting late term abortions.

Obama does not support gay marriage.....he does support the rights of gay people to live their life in freedom and without being discriminated because of their sexuality.

You ask how can a Christian support Obama?
I would ask how a Christian could support GW Bush? a man who sent almost 5000 US troops to their deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq based on ,we now know,lies while spending this nation into oblivion that will take years to recover from?

If I had to guess Obama is more a Christian man than GW Bush will ever be......and I wont even mention Bush getting busted for drunk driving at the age of 40....Bush a Christian? HA!
