all these out of towners are taking our hard earned money and not paying Mississippi State taxes and that's what we all should be concerned about. Report them to the Dept of Revenue.Remember Katrina!!! Check for license and insurance.

If you are a legitimate business and do quality work you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I am in Jackson, MS from Nashville for a music production business I own. I have gotten to know the local Extreme Roofing rep and I can tell you that he is sincere and honest about his work here. His company donates to charities (see http://extremeroofingandrestorationsllc.com/ )
That's all I know. I would do business with the guy...if I had a roof!

Please read through to the end, as you will not *believe* how badly this company screwed us over.
I had Extreme Roofing put my roof on. It was, quite literally, the worst decision I ever made. It was just after the Great Hailstorm of 2013. They a salesman named Jerry come to my home and talk to us. I trusted him already since they were already doing our neighbors' home, right? They promised to fix our awning, which had softball sized holes in it, even though insurance said they wouldn't cover it. His exact words, "There is a 99.9% chance I will get them to cover it." They didn't.
A quick Google search of the company, Extreme Roofing brings up many results, with the first several specifically about how they screwed someone else over. There have been more complaints about this company than any other roofing company I have researched. Their website: www.extremeroofingandrestorationsllc.com is now just a virus-ridden, nonexistent adware bomb (PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO TO THIS SITE - ADWARE IN THE EXTREME. But it used to boast an "A+ rating with the BBB," when in actuality it had a D rating with the Better Business Bureau the first time I checked, and a nonexistent rating the second time I checked about six months later. This lead me to believe the company is no longer in business.
Anyway, Jerry also promised to replace our swingset, my tool shed, and the awning of course, among other things. We received a check from the insurance company, which we gave to the roofing company. We received another check that was "overpayment" from the insurance company. Their words. I asked them specifically was it intended for the roofing company, to which they replied with an unequivocal "no."
Fast forward six months and we have been getting harassing phone calls from the roofing company telling us we owe them money. I queried our insurance company who assured me that yes, they had been paid IN FULL. I said, no, we do not owe Extreme Roofing anything. Insurance has taken care of it. They said, "well, they didn't pay us the full amount." I said, "Send me a copy of the statement." They did. There were charges on there for several things, including the swingset and the tool shed, which they did not replace. Photos taken before and after the work they'd done (by non-English speaking Latinos who I'd bet my next paycheck were not in this country legally, not that I really care except in this case) prove this beyond reasonable doubt.
We finally begin to receive notices from an attorneys' office - Simpson Law Firm - after I told them repeatedly that we did not owe them money, we would not pay for work they didn't do and structures they didn't replace. Long story short, they took us to court and won. Why? Even with utter proof of their dishonesty? Because I didn't know courtroom procedure. Literally the ONLY reason the judge's decision went against us. He said it plainly.
We could not afford to pay that money, as we had told them over and over, so they garnished my wife's paycheck.$400 a paycheck, bi-weekly, for three months. We were already close to losing so much. The garnishment literally put our home into foreclosure. We managed to survive, making sacrifices too horrible to repeat... But we did survive, somehow.
Then, yesterday, there is an additional garnishment on my wife's paycheck.$355.00! That's half a house payment, groceries for a month, gas for a month. So my wife goes to the payroll office - she works at MS State Hospital - and asks what it's about. The attorneys' office this shady roofing company used had arbitrarily decided that we owed them *further* monies, and instructed the payroll department at her work to deduct this further amount without any notice or consent. We still supposedly owe them another $65.00. To date, we have paid them more than $2400.00 (on an $800.00 original complaint) for services and goods never rendered. And although we can PROVE this it doesn't matter because it isn't "prodecural" enough for them.
