if you want all black leaders move on over to jackson where peerless leaders like kenneth stokes can lead you on the path to misery and absolute poverty.

ok heres a better for the person who started this topic

has a black person ever ran for office in there?

has a black person that ran for office there been worthy of the publics vote?

these are some of the things that you should ask your self instead of acting like the whole town is anti-black or some other crap

I think they were just bringing up a point and they're interested in why. Black people and other minorities bring these questions up. We aren't complaining, only wondering. In my opinion it is one of those concerns that white people in America don't understand.

Negroes always 'see' racism, even when there are no qualified blacks around. They feel they should hold 80% of available leadership positions even though they make up only 12% of the country.

It is unbelievable really. If they want quotas so bad it should be mandated that the actual racial make up of the country is followed.

No more DMV office completely full of blacks because it is racist. No more public assistance offices completely run and staffed by blacks.

I understand that the public sector is the only place a black can actually compete, so long as there are racist policies that favor them, but a some point we must think about efficiency and quality of service.

While it is true that Byram is getting darker, it will never be part of Jackson, thankfully. Madpuppy raises a valid point. Before everyone flips out about officials being all white, we need details as to who all actually ran for the positions. We all have equal rights, don't bitch about it go out and vote for who you believe will represnt you best. The reason Byram is getting darker though is because middle class black families are fleeing West and South Jackson, where they are represented by Black officials. We see where that gets us right? As house prices continue to fall in Byram, it should come as no surprise that many black families can afford to move their children to better school districts... Wouldn't you?

Perhaps it's because our OFFICIALS are the leaders who fought to keep OUR TOWN out of the Annex. NONE of us wanted to be Jackson residents (again)....THEY deserve to be right where they are.
