Bartenders have a responsibility to stop serving alcohol once it becomes dangerous to do so. In Tennessee, they can be legally liable for injuries or fatalities which occur as a result of the intoxication of the person they've been serving. While this may sound unfair, drunk driving is something that affects society as a whole, and it's something that needs to be prevented before property gets damaged, people get hurt, or worse.

The bartender didn't make him drink..He was the one to make that choice and he made the stupid choice of getting on the bike. I pray for his family cause I know it's hard losing someone but he chose what he wanted. He could have hurt children. Thank god he didn't

IT WAS HIS CHOICE OF JESSE BUT THE BARTENDER HAD A RESPONSIBILITY TO STOP SERVING AND THE FACT THAT A MAN IN THE BAR EVEN TOLD THE BARTENDER TO STOP SERVING HIM AND YES WHEN YOU REACH THE POINT OF BEING DRUNK YOU DO NOT MAKE THE DECISIONS YOU WOULD MAKE SOBER SO IT STARTED OUT BEING JESSE DECISION AND IT WAS A BAD ONE BUT THE PERSON THAT JUST KEPT SERVING HIM MADE THE FINAL DECISION AND IF I WAS HIS FAMILY I WOULD GO TO EVERY EXTREME TO PRESS CHARGES THIS WONT BRING JESSE BACK BUT IT MIGHT MAKE A BARTENDER THINK NEXT TIME AND SAVE A LIFE..

I knew Jesse and some of his brothers personally. This is a horrible horrible thing to happen no matter what the cause. LOTS of people in this world drink and they make that choice to do so, but a bartender does hold a responsibility just like if you have a party and let people that are trashed leave and they do something while intoxicated you will be held responsible for hosting the party. He was only 23 years old and far to many people are lost do to things like this. Its not about laying blame for Jesse because nothing can bring him back its about holding the person(s) responsible so they don't do it again to someone else

Everyone Please stop. a lot of you may can known Jesse. He was a good kid. He was just coming out of the Army and has only been home now for 5 weeks. I haven't had any time him in 4 fours, then I only have him back home and now I WILL NEVER HAVE HIM AGAIN. Yes I know he was drinking and maybe he did have to much. What would you have said if he had been killed when he was deployed. NOTHING YES NOTHING. but because he was drinking you down him. WOW I gues there is people on this earth that has no sins and here all my life I thought that person was only Jesus. I hope everyone stop and thinks about Jesse has 3 brothers, mom and dad that loves him very much and will be missed very badly.

God Bless all of you,
