Taft mulls annexation

The city of Taft wants to expand its reach all the way to where the new NASCAR race track is under construction at Enos Lane and Interstate 5. That's about 18 miles away from Taft's City Hall and main drag. via Bakersfield Californian

Keep Ford City small and keep Taft out. If you want more beurocrats to support then bill ready to support them with higher taxes.

The only reason this lame town want s to annex is beacuse of the dumb race track. This crap hole town wants more money. They didn't want Denny's or starbucks out. This town needs to pull thier head out of their asses.

attract more buisness,stop trying using the city for private gain and let people open a nice little store without taking all of thier start up money.quit making it illeagle to set a metal shop building at a house where the guy has spent half his life and then a city offical just happens to have a place for sale that you can build your shop.politics are for fixing the problems not setting yourself for profit.its about building a city not an empire.its about the people not the city leaders
