I will always remember the Hippo twins during my residency in Reynolds and beyond. Santa Claus was to deliver a trampolin to my children one Christmas. I was struggling to get the springs in place when a friend stopped by. He looked at me and said "This is a job for the Crawley boys." So he called them and they came over and placed those springs with little trouble. Years later, when I was visiting my daughter in Reynolds, my heart went into atrial fib and Runt Lowe carried me to the Medical Center in Macon. Who was there to look after me but none other than Mike Crawley. His comments to me were, "I knew that I would live long enough that some day I would get to stick you with a big needle." And that was what he did.
These were two terrific fellows and the community will surely miss Mike.
