Teens caught smoking pot behind clubhouse Staff Report Published: April 22, 2009 "BROOKSVILLE - A deputy caught three teen-agers smoking marijuana on Tuesday, including one who admitted that he was a "regular pothead." A deputy on an off-duty detail in Sterling Hills said he approached a red pickup that was parked after hours behind the south clubhouse. The "strong and distinct" odor of burnt marijuana was coming from the truck and the people inside were "very relaxed," a report states. Each of the occupants was asked to step out of the pickup and was questioned individually. A search of the truck turned up prescription pills and marijuana; the driver, Andrew Neff, 18, and his 17-year-old passenger were charged with possession of a controlled substance. Another 16-year-old, who described himself as a "regular pothead," was released to his father with no charges." So much for pot being safe and not leading to other drugs....LOL....and why was the 16 yr old let off? Charge him. What does he learn by getting off scott free? He is so stupid he admits he is a "regular pothead" to the police and they let him off.

If you look at the Sheriffs' website, you will see that all three were charged. Two were taken to jail and the third given a citation and released to his father instead of being taken in by deputies. http://www.hernandosheriff.org/applications/r...

Well hopefully the father will lay down the law, but considering what you see what passes as parents these days and the fact that he boasts being a "regular pothead" not likely.
Remember the one awhile back whose 15 yr old son overdosed and died while "partying" with dad.
Father wanted to teach him how to party. Unreal.

death to all fathers whose children wear short pants; leave only the old hags whose tails wag
and if the parents tried weed they may plead for their lives but only if the dads were married to the moms; all unmarried moms must die since they cost the county for extra school seats and meals for the weed smokers kids

Saw a guy two nights ago leave a bar. He couldn't walk. His friend had to help him into a car where he got a ride home. As they were pulling out of the parking spot, the passenger puked all over the guys dashboard, blasted his windshield from the inside. Lovely. Never saw a pot smoker walk like that nor puke from it. Imagine if the guy wasn't there with a friend?

Man made alcohol. Who do you trust? Alcohol is an addictive dangerous drug. Do you think more people would decide to smoke marijuana should it become legalized? Most likely. Would they continue using if it was legalized? Most likely. Would organized crime be shot in the nuts? Yes. Would there be less money spent on prosecuting people for a plant? Yes. Would there be more resources made available to fight real drugs like heroin, cocaine and meth? Yes. Would society then benefit from the above? Yes. And the question is?

God also made the ingredients for the nuclear bomb. It is man who made it into a devastating weapon. Such as alcohol. Devasting affects. why ask why wrote: <quoted text> thats right....and god made the ingredients for alcohol...however man discovered how to combine it and make it.... the thing for all of us is to remember that no matter the topix we all will disagree in one way or another..

You come back with the most asine replies. I like it when people talk about stuff they have no personal knowledge about. Like the inside of the school system. Did that poster actually SEE a teacher taking a nap in a class? Of course not. Only heard about it. Go have a drink. Thats legal. thinking about it wrote: <quoted text> did God cut it up? did God roll it up? did God lite it up? three 'NO' and all belong to man.... you friend..... go sit in the sun since yoou obviously are already occified...... just stay out from behind the wheel when you've tried the 'Good Stuff'[certainly not 'God's Stuff'] agree that path of legalization is perhaps best - would cut costs to anyone who needs to stay creamed

Its always the ones with NO knowledge of the subject matter that have the most to say against it. Like nuns and priests on sex. How can you comment on something you (supposedly) dont know anything about?

Such loss of coordination can be caused by smoking marijuana. And that’s just one of its many negative effects. Marijuana affects memory, judgment, and perception. Under the influence of marijuana, you could fail to remember things you just learned, watch your grade point average drop, or crash a car. Some people may suffer sudden feelings of anxiety and have paranoid thoughts—which is more likely to happen when higher doses are used or when it is taken orally. The problem is that it’s difficult to tell what the effects of marijuana will be for any given person at any time, because they vary based on the person, their drug history, how much marijuana is taken, and its potency. Effects can also be unpredictable when other drugs are mixed with marijuana. I would rather it became legalized for medicinal purposes before recreational uses. If an adult sees a need to use it then fine, however I do not want my children having easy access to it. www.marijuana-info.org/

Alcohol is created when grains, fruits, or vegetables are fermented, a process that uses yeast or bacteria to change the sugars in the food into alcohol. Alcohol has different forms and can be used as a cleaner or antiseptic; however the kind of alcohol that people drink is ethanol, which is a sedative. When alcohol is consumed, it's absorbed into a person's bloodstream. From there, it affects the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord), which controls virtually all body functions. Alcohol actually blocks some of the messages trying to get to the brain. This alters a person's perceptions, emotions, movement, vision, and hearing AND THAT IS LEGAL TO BUY, SELL, USE TO ANY EXCESS YOU SO DESIRE. I WOULDNT WANT MY KIDS TO HAVE EASY ACCESS TO THAT STUFF. why ask why wrote: Such loss of coordination can be caused by smoking marijuana. And that’s just one of its many negative effects.
