These men are guilty and should have to stay in jail. Unfortunatly the women of the community are at risk now that they have been set free on bond.

outraged: have you ever READ any of the court transcripts and enlightened yourself on the FACTS of the case?

Obviously not! These men are NOT a threat to women or anyone in the community. The real threat are the corrupt officials in Portage County. There are others who know who killed Connie Nardi out there that have been roaming in the community for the past 18 years. Now that's a risk!

Anyone who was close to the story when it happened showed no surprise to hear Busta's name. All evidence points to him and other thugs from the "R-Gang /Upper Deck" era... always has, always will.

I guess if you are worried about women's safety you should hope that we get past Resh and Gondor and pursue the real killer(s).

AMEN is right, now if there was just some way to give these two their lives back, all would be well and good...

I'm the Beacon Journal reporter who has covered this story. If you profess to know the killers, send me an email at emeyer@thebeaconjournal.com and explain in detail what you know and how you know it.

These men are inocent and definitely not a risk. They were giving another trial because there was a mass amount of evidence that was left out of original trial. It is only fair to have all evidence presented and grant them a fair trial

GOOD LUCK Bob and Randy. I have watched the justice system operate here for over 40 years so I know "how we do things here". I am glad you two kept fighting to bring the truth out. Maybe with all this media coverage making local corruption and injustice here public it will stop. It took guts and persistence to get this far because believe me Portage County has a way of keeping this kind of thing secret. Many many people out here applaud you and hope you get the justice you deserve. If you do I hope you sue the hell out of the Portage County prosecutor's office!!! It is about time they get off their high horse and follow the law themselves!!!

From having read the Supreme Court's Order, it is clear that there was either ineffective counsel or prosecutorial misconduct. Either way, a new trial is warranted.

If they are guilty, then the state should have no problem proving it beyond a reasonable doubt. However, having read about the evidence which was withheld (or overlooked), I have a reasonable doubt. In fact, I think that it is probable that they had absolutely nothing to do with his crime.

Well well well. I see Portage County is at it again...down to Grafton to see what who they can bribe this time around. If it wasn't for a reporter out there with guts then this would be another matter swept under the rug here. How long will the people in Portage County turn a blind eye to justice? Because that is who has the blinders on...the people in Portage County who do not acknowledge the injustice here.

You probably know of the facts the Portage County prosecutor wants you to know....I am sure there was a lot left out of the facts you have. That is how we do it here, you know. Only part of the story gets out...the part that helps the prosecutor's office. Thank God there are higher courts.
