Dear Mr. Kildee, I saw your name mentioned on a different thread. And it made me remember something you did years ago. I was on a plane to Mi. with my two children to get married. You were seated next to us. I had only been on a plane once in my life,so I didnt understand turbulence and I was very scared of flying. You calmed me down by telling me how you had to fly alot and everything was fine,that the bumping was turbulence and it was normal. A few years later after having started our new life in Grand Blanc Mi. My husband,children and in-laws were at a parade where you were on a float throwing candy out to the people. My husband said: "that is the man you were sitting next to on the plane when you first moved here". I yelled and asked, "do you remember us"? and you said yes. I still remember feeling honored when you did remember us. The reason for my writing this is to say,thank you for making a young lady and her children feel safer and special, since you took time to calm our fears. God bless you,Mr.Kildee! PS. Since that day,I now have four grown children and nine grandchildren. And the man I married is a Pastor of a church here in Somerset Ky.
