Steering fluid flush not needed, but it won't hurt

It's possible for PS fluid to 'fail'.
If it is runny and discolored get it flushed and replaced, not just sucked out of the res. and filled.
This procedure saved me a huge bill on my 99 Taurus. It was
groaning, and complaining. The fluid looked brown. A complete flush cured it and has operated perfectly.
What is NOT necessary is an oil change every 3000 miles. It's a complete waste.
Every 6000 miles is more than required.
