A proud Corinthian

Hollywood, FL

Everybody is bashing the new places that open up here we are suppose to be a southern hospitable God loving town. If everybody does that we are never going to get any new places to eat here anymore no jobs no new industry. No one is going to want to move or invest in our town or our lives and our economy is already strained enough. I am very proud of the town we have here it's very historical and it means something to a lot of us who was born and raised here and I have lived other places and there is no place like home. Corinth MS. So lets support the new business that come here and people for we are what makes the place great! It's rich in our traditions and our memories so let's make it better than ever and enjoy it for the rest of our lives and our children's and theirs. We have the population so bring on the big restaurants and chains the big shopping malls etc we can handle it and we are better for it and make this a place that your kids can stay here and don't have to leave just to make a living. There is plenty of space for manufacturing industries here as well so I employer you to embrace our new comers and make them welcome this is our future and our lives and livelihood depends on it.

Is Corinth really interested in new manufacturing jobs, though? I thought we cast our lot in with the "retirement community" crowd some time ago.

I'm afraid, for alot of folks, all liquor will bring is misery, heartache, and broken families.
For the ones that thought liquor = jobs, they were told.

Your "little town" is dead. That's what happens when you live in the religious dark ages, and let your corrupt little churches (one on every street corner) control everything. Yeah, pave the whole thing over, put in more malls and parking lots, so you can all drown when the dump floods. Best thing for you yokels -- you ain't goin' nowhere -- EVER! Hey, most of the former "businesses" are boarded up, or taken over by pay-day loans and pawn shops -- GUNS! GOLD!-- or the ground is so polluted by filthy "industry," it would take a superfund to clean it up. A hot little hellhole with an uneducated work force, all the charm of a penal colony? Sounds like a recipe for success!

You folks are going down. Keep breedin' though!
I got a chuckle from this coming from someone in Baldwyn.

It's something people try and attack when they can't come up with anything cogent.

I'd hate to know a hillbilly was more poetic than I was. Maybe that describes your hostility?

<quoted text>Oh, baby, show us how it's done. Um, tell you what, you write a poem, then I will. Then we'll figure out who's more, um, "poetic."

You have a lot of time to waste, evidently. Is that why you're so, er, "poetic," and why you can't spell "face?" "phase?" "faze." You must mean one of 'em, cause I don't think there's anymore.

(And don't try to impress me with your backwoods "erudition" -- it's too late.)
I have too much time with my single sentence responses? I'd hate to see how much time I have to write multiple paragraphs.

Now, please call me hillbilly some more. It's cutting me to the core. I promise.
sorry

<quoted text>OK, now that's just stupid filler, no way poetic. Now go do something constructive, like "roughing up the suspect" in the bathroom sink.
Hey, you didn't call me a hillbilly for once. You're making progress. Hang in there.

Oh-oh, looks like the "big" intellectual guns" are movin' in ... "fase" being just a "taste." Later ... you start responding to these folks, and in no time you're smearing the asylum walls with your own feces. Jus' sayin'...
You use apostrophes and parenthesis in an odd manner.
