Liquor World will be making a $5 million investment in this community, plus adding several jobs, that would be a significant boost to the local economy! They also say they will be bringing a "national chain" restaurant with them when they come (Hooters, no doubt since they have one right next to them in Richmond), thats more jobs!
I'm like you though,"Where's the Liquor"!! Let's get it on the ball Wild Cat, and Girdler!!

Well maybe he can round-up a Chicago Bar & Grill (formerly Uno's), got the best deep dish pizza you'll ever eat!
We will get better prices from Liquor World, you know the small stores will price their goods higher, like Main St. Deli did when they first started selling beer. I've managed liquor stores before, I know what they pay for the liquor, and beer. Here's a hint, Busch Light 30pks. run about $10, the rest they charge is almost pure profit......Here's another hint, for the best price on beer, buy yourself an old refrigerator and put a spigot through the door, and then buy beer by the kegs, cheapest way.....course where I used to live you didn't have to pay "city tax" either, only state sales tax.

How long will the keg last if you're a slow drinker? I'm a liquor man but I would rather give my company beer than liquor. Cheaper that way.

Man, what a contradiction of terms, live in a bible thumping town, and own liquor stores in other cities. Oh well....

Doesn't really matter I guess, I was hoping to see Liquor Mart open a store here, those guys always treated me right on price, as well as loading what I bought into my vehicle without even asking me. Very nice people, and courteous. They should have gotten a license here, they might have several stores, but the closest one to me is 50 miles away, would've saved me from driving 100 miles, at the time.

Kegs come in different sizes, from a few gallons on up,.....there's a little over a gallon in a 12pk. They will keep for a pretty long time, but not forever. Just check with your supplier on the sizes they carry, and select what fits your needs. Also, remember you'll need other things to make the keg work, and you'll have to pay deposits on the keg etc., but you get it back. Also, remember if you get a large keg, you'll need a couple of days to get it good an cold. It'll cost a few bucks to get set up.

I like you. I've been there a bunch and never bought enough to need help loading it and I've spent a lot of dead presidents there. Good job.

Couple days to get it cold? They come cold you just got to keep them cold. Been a while on the keg drinking. I forgot about pony kegs and even the smaller gallon ones. Those do come warm but I don't see it taking long to cool off.

Been many times I've rolled a hot beer in a bowl of ice and get it cold in a few minutes. Drink it while you roll the next one. By the fourth beer the cooler got the rest cold.

Good times

Looks like they're expecting to on March 1st?

If you know them, tell them to put their address on that website. It always amazes me how businesses do that, don't post their address or phone number or get some curly script sign taht's completely illegible etc

Apparently, that is exactly what they are expecting to do, open on March 1st. If you click on where it says: Click here to apply, it will take you to an employment application you can fill out online. Their address shown on the application says 411 Crab Orchard in Somerset, but everything else I have seen says they'll be at 775 S. St. Rt. 27, so I wish they would give a definite address as to where the business is going to be! No phone number as yet,......either.....

The address is
775 S Hwy 27
First place on the right past Mr Gattis. Just past light 8

No way it will be open 3/1. It will be late March or early April. I know one of the contractors. The building won't be finished until around 3/15.
