Someone went over the fence last night and took one of my 2 week old lambs. It's a black belly barbados. It isn't old enough to eat yet. The person that took it left their tool by the fence. If anyone sees a very small brown and black lamb please contact me or the police. They have been notified. cbaker73@newwavecomm.net

Things have got oh so much better in Antioch but there is still a couple thieves left. We all know who they are. They been riding those four wheelers around again to. Lots of the dealers have got busted and are gone by now. I'm sorry they got your lamb tho. Where was it took from in Antioch? We'll keep an eye out. We'll also listen for it. When a lamb gets hungry it gets really loud and maybe some body will hear it. We will try to help you find it. But where was it took from? Who ever has it must be close enough to know it was there before they took it. If you find first it can you let ever body know so we can stop looking?

Hmmmmm. It sounds like somebody might be getting a baby lamb for Easter. I hope you're able to find it quickly...

Bump to the top!!

I just hope they know that it will need to be bottle fed for about 2 months.
If the person that took my lamb is reading this will you please just put it back over the fence with it's mother. It needs her milk until it's 3 months old. I know it's cute right now but they grow fast and will get really big.

I'll make a phone call right now because I've got some people over that way that I'm sure would be willing to help you. If they hear hear it bleating for food, they'll have NO problem going out to find it's whereabouts....

Rumor has it that there was a man seen sneaking around down your way a week or so ago... I saw a thread in here about it a few weeks back, so you might want to check that out too.

I surely hope you find your little baby. People don't know what they're taking on sometimes when a critter is still young enough to look "cute". They may get tired of it and set it loose, so in that case: Everyone in Antioch keep your eyes open. There are so many coyotes around there, it would be terrible if you saw it and did nothing.

Let me get off of here and make that phone call. Let us know if you get it back so I can call my people and tell them it's been found, OK?

Oh my goodness! Well, it's great that you already know about him then! That's good! I see so many comments on here that it's hard to keep them straight. I'm sorry.. Thanks for saying you'll keep us updated!

I'm going to be down around that area sometime this week, so I'll keep my windows down and my ears and eyes open.

OH MY GOSH! You caught them in the act? How amazing!! SO, did you just give them a reaming and let them go, or did you charge them with trespass? Was it someone in that area? Someone around you? Was it that "hiding man in the bushes" perhaps? Truly, I really would also like to know if it WAS someone from around there so I can tell my people to beware..

I'm SO thrilled that you got it back. I was getting worried that it'd starve, or worse yet be turned into a meal. Thank God you got it back. I thought about that poor little baby even before I fell asleep last night.

Now my nosy bone is kicking in and I want to know what happened when you caught them. No personal names needed, just the basic story. Did this thread help in getting in back?(Yeah, I'm guilty of being nosy sometimes, lol).

And thanks for posting!! Congrats!!!

The person that returned the lamb wasn't the theif that took it. She bought it from someone and when she found out how young it was and that it had been stolen she brought it and dropped it over the fence. Yes it was stolen by 2 guys, one of which is local so watch your stuff. Sorry, I can't say anymore at this time.
