Anyone know if they are good? I recently hurt my ankle just by standing and thought I might need to see someone.

All they tried to do was sell my sister some shoes. Yeah shoes might help a little bit but they sure did push their shoe store awful hard. She won't be going back again.

the winter before this past one, my feet were so sore that it felt like i was walking on broken bones. i was desperate for help. dr. miller was recommended and i saw him. he made his diagnosis and had the shoe inserts fit to my feet and recommended a pain killer like aspirin or naproxen. i've have very little problem in a year. that's just me, i can't speak for anyone else.

they did me the same way. i have old breaks that they said have fused back together but i know for a fact that they arent because a set of xrays from somewhere else has shown the bones are still not fused! you got off lucky because they charge me over $200.00 for that visit. i paid it out of my own pocket before i left that day because i didnt have insurance at that time. at least i don't owe them anything because i paid it in full. you better believe i was very angry at that office when i left.

Extramly typical of that place. Its a joke. They are money hungry. Honest to goodness there isn't a Dr there that actually wants to help you they just want your money. And to keep you coming back. DONT GO THERE!

I went once and only once. They tried to talk me into buying shoes that day too and said that my severe pain was nothing but soft tissue damage.

That was incorrect. I'll go to Lexington from now on.

i'm curious where you received the medical degree that enabled you to diagnose this problem.

i've been to these people several times and each and every time, the diagnosis and treatment were successful. true, i was prescribed a certain type of shoes because of the way my hips, knees and lower back structure caused my feet to hit the ground when i walked.

the shoes make up for this and many of my problems that others always said were just arthritic, have gone.

i don't get it, most of you folks get free medical care anyway and you gripe about it.

speaking of medical care, for those of you filing taxes and paying health insurance, how y'all enjoying paying all the new raises?

ya got what you voted for

Looks like you had the same problem
As me. After receiving my diagnosis I wanted a second opinion. Well needless to say Cumberland is a joke. They had no idea what they were doing. All they wanted was for me to purchase items that i did not even need. And that my insurance would not cover. Never will I go back or recommend them to anyone. Take the extra drive an go to Lexington if you want an accurate diagnosis.

Could you imagine being a foot doctor in this land of obesity and diabetes <shudder>?

The most reliable "treatment" for the majority of "foot and ankle" problems is to lose weight. And that "miracle cure" is on the patients' shoulders, not the doctors.
