Bad heroin suspected in overdose deaths

PORTAGE - After the recent overdose death of a 22-year-old man, Porter County police are investigating whether a tainted batch of heroin blamed for a dozen deaths in Chicago has leaked into northwest Indiana.

This heroin problem in Porter County is alot worst than any of you people think. We have the highest rate of overdoses on heroin than anywhere in the country. Something has to be done now !

why are so many young youths dying of heroin overdoses in the world? You know Dave died after posting a cry for help on this web page! maybe it's because so many parents don't know? or the parents are the suppliers? we as people of this nation should say for me drug free. I used to love drugs until i couldn't get a good paying job. Now that i quit i have a dammn good job buying my baby pampers and toys ooh! leave the drugs alone and grow up. The cops seem to think it was bad heroin
cuz they said if it was an overdose, shed still have the needle in her hand.

She injected at a park close to her house, walked in her room, and no one knows how long but her mom found her with vomit bloody all over and foaming at the mouth, she still had her jacket on and everything, and the needles where in her pocket

she called the ambulance but by the tim ethey came...she was dead

Hell, lets taint all the drugs and rid society of the burden of addicts! 50 bucks says crime would drop and after awhile your percentage of addicts in the area would drop!

As stupid as I think drug use is (I don't even drink...), your idea is barbaric and idiotic. These people have problems. They are just like you and me. They have families like you and me. They have people who care about them.

Getting these people help would be much more effective than killing them off.
