AT&T and dropped calls....

I swapped from Verizon to AT&T at the beginning of this year and I have dropped calls daily. There are also many times that I can't even call out because I don't have enough service. I talked to a lady that works at the store in Covington and she said it may be my phone and not their wireless service. My husband has the same problems that I do though. Is this a common problem with AT&T? I have the WORST service in the middle of town in Covington and when I'm driving on Mt. Carmel Rd.

We had same problem in Munford which went on for well over 1.5 years, after much documentation on our part I might add we finally convinced ATT to install a signal booster in our house. Now we have 5 bars constantly...

Was there a cost on your part for the signal booster? Is it a micro cell?

No cost to us, AT&T finally agreed after months of argument that they were not providing a service as agreed in their contract and sent us the booster. Here is the web site describing the booster; http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/devices/3gmi...

Switch to Verizon. I have had it for years and have been completely satisfied. They may not be he cheapest, but at least you get what you pay for. Good good service.

I went from Verizon to AT&T about 4 months ago. I'm completely satisfied. I get way more service than I did with Verizon.
