Several hurt in weekend accident

Linda Smuzer, 62, of Concrete, and Kayla Eck, 18, of Burlington, were both in satisfactory condition today at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where they were flown Saturday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

That was probably the scariest thing that has happened to me. I felt so bad when I hear what happened to Linda. She broke several bones, including both of her legs. My face was thrown into the dashboard, and my nose was crushed. It was horrific, but we all survived.
