Will NATO send in air strikes to support these US protesters who are rising up against their oppressive government? Will NATO support a regime change here in the USA?

will they declare Obama is ousted from power even though he is not?

I wonder about a new civil war and NATO...
if Vermont were to seceed, would NATO provide air cover?

Dont forget, it wouldn't be an invasion or war if there are no "boots on the ground".

The UN/NATO had BETTER side with SSRV - The Sovereign Seceded Republic of Vermont! We have the bomb and will use it.(we'll make it from plutonium taken from our nuke in Vernon using assembly instructions found on the internet)
We also have Predator Drones- We can send mikey to Washington and he'll drone on and on and on about something 'really important' to him* and put the president to sleep, that's when we Vermont Militiamen slip in and take over the whole Military Industrial Complex!

I'd agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.

They are not the 99%...they are in fact the 1% of our society that would be disenchanted about something no matter how good things are.
A lot of ingratitude for how great our country has made their lives is going around right now. Certainly the people by the fountain weren't the poor or the unemployed.
They are merely the disenchanted and we will always have those.
My,my! You sound like King George the Third bitching about how "we made those ungrateful thirteen colonies what they are, we spent jolly good sums of pounds defending them against the French in the Seven years' War. Now that the french presence is gone from that continent, these ghawstly scallywags rebel just because we impose a few stam taxes and sugar taxes. Egad!"

Listen. Most revolutionaries, including our Founding Fathers, tend to originate from the better-educated and better served classes. The United States might not exist today had they followed your logic.

It's was a big mistake not bailing out Borders Book Stores, now the unemployed dorks have nothing better to do than protest. It's not like they can go out and get a real job, they don't have the first clue how to work or have any interest in such a thing as work.

Freddie and Fannie had default rates that were ~20% of private Wall Street firms but when did you ever let facts get in the way of your teabagger world view.
Shame someone useful didn't get your 19 years of education.

Not at all...I'm just a little more aware of how rich our country really is. For instance in order to be in the top 1% if you consider the whole world your income would only have to be $34,000 a year. Almost all of the population of the US lies in that 1% when low income benefits are considered. To be in the top 50% in the world you just need to earn $1250/year. But don't take my word for it read this:

" Attention, Protestors: You're Probably Part of the 1%"

http://news.yahoo.com/attention-protestors-yo...

This OWS movement isn't going anywhere simply because there are not enough people who are really disadvantaged who will respond to it. The US is the wealthiest country in the world and it extends to all those protesters with their expensive tents and pocket cash.

The OWS and the revolution have nothing in common. When are people going to stop coparing every single protest movement to the revolutionary war. It was silly to put the tea party in there and even more silly to put in the OWS.

It's not the corporations, it's the army of sleeze bag yuppies willing to take part in anything for a dollar. The mafia wouldn't exist either without the army of useful idiots willing to do the dirty work. The CEO needs the sleeze bags to do his dirty work.

The sleeze bag real estate agents where the front line scum in the housing mess, they pushed people into housing they could never afford to pay for and knew what they where doing, anything for a buck.

The only bogey man is the american public, not some federal reserve, banker or corporation, We The People screwed ourselves and we can fix it if we stop playing the blame game and get back to work and put America first, stop buying the imports and wasting energy and storming school board meetings screeching spare no exspense and on it goes of selfish people being their own worst enemies.

The ME Generation made the mess and it includes boomers and people older than boomers who lead the charge the last 30 years.

Funny, everyone loved those Wall Street guys when the stock market was over 14,000 and everyone's 401K's tripled in a few years. My husband and I would talk about the houses being sold in 2006-2008 and wonder when it would end. It had to - people making 30,000 a year were buying 400,000 houses - anyone with any common sense knew it would end. I'm surprised it went on as long as it did. I think there is more than enough blame to go around for everyone.
