A new controversy involving President Obama and school children could be brewing.

A real American would know that the word God can be said in many contexts, such as the pledge. An intelligent American would know that Cass Sunstein was confirmed by the Senate, which technically eliminates him from the czar category, and that what he advocated is that citizens be authorized to file suits on behalf of animals subjected to cruelty. An alert American would know that Sunstein has nothing to do with science in the Obama Administration. He is the head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. That same American would know that Sunstein is a Constitutional scholar and lawyer who has taught for many years at the University of Chicago. His background is as remote from science as it could be. And a real American who did any research at all would know that little kids are not putting condoms on cucumers, but some 10th graders in Maryland are watching a video in a health education class in which a young woman demonstrates condom use by putting one on a cucumber.

The chants of praise clearly remind us of children chanting for Saddam or one of the other leaders of a terrorist country. If this was a song about President Bush there would be so much outrage, demands for investigations, the teacher would be fired, the superintendent thrown out, cries of foul from the NAACP, the teachers union, and virtually every Dem that saw or heard of it. However the superintendent gave a half-baked excuse, the Dems think it is wonderful, and I am sure Obama feels this reinforces his belief that he is the chosen one.

This is just not right - instead of worshiping a moral man, who by the way has many flaws like the rest of us, we should sincerely put prayer back in our schools and teach our youth to be more respectful of one another. Our government, sports figures and Hollywood are sending the wrong message to our youth (violence, cruel behavior, backstabbing, worshiping thugs who can play the game better than others and those who think they are above it all just because they are "Stars"). We all put our pants on the same way, none of us is better than the other. We may have various talents, but we are all the same - Humans not Gods!

Working TOGETHER for the common cause is no longer being pursued. The constant mud slinging and disrespect within our own government is really uncalled for. We did not elect these officials to be worshipped, we elected them to work with us and for us. Our Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves. What happen to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness? Are we going backwards in time? Why is it that the 10 commandments are so hard to follow? They certainly make common sense for ALL faiths. We are heading on a spiral downturn and we need to get this country back on the straight and narrow. This country was built on Faith and in God We Trust - Our military men and women are fighting so we can live freely – we are so blindsided by those who think they are above it all. I Love my Country - I just get sick at what is happening! Wake Up America!

American parents better wake up. one way of usurping parental guidance is to have a child as a captive audience by the parents' worst enemy, the gov't school system. they have your child for 8 or 9 hrs. you only have them for 5hrs in the afternoon. you must instill unshaking principles in their minds and make them ask questions. don't let them accept what is taught to them without your scrutinization of the curriculum. forget this psychobabble bullshit about global warming and scoreless athletics. math, science, American history, reading, writing and American civics are what they should be learning. or you will wake up one day and your child will be escorting you to an obama gulag and you WILL be re-educated and taught what the govt wants you to think.

I guess my only questions is why? Should we sing about the next president and the one after that? What will this accomplish other than giving the kids the notion that Obama must be something extraordinary. Let him earn his awards, titles, and praise. He hasn't really done that much unless you think plunging us into debt is an accomplishment. He may prove to be the best president of all times, but let's wait until he proves that or carries out his first term.
