I can't believe employees of a company (read pilots) can dictate direction of said company. Nor can I believe how utterly selfish these employees are. They are holding everyone else hostage to their personal demands. While I understand there are issues important to them, work it out for the good of everyone.

Again if you think a bunch of pilots can hold up a 20 billion dollar transaction your drinking the media kool-aid.

When the mis management at both of these airlines want the deal... they will get it.

Grizzley, it's gonna be a one way street for quite sometime.

As far as being money hungry, who supports the casinos in Monaco?

No wonder fuel is sky-high. We've got J.R. Ewing in the White House.

Didn't have this high fuel cost when the Clintons were in charge. Hopefully they'll be back.

J.R. Ewing called Dallas, Texas home, but in reality Houston, TEXAS is the Head-quarters for the Oil Giants of the entire WORLD; yes Papa Bush has his office there, and yes G.W.BUSH will take over the Bush Oil Cartel Business on Jan.21, 2009... did I mention $120 ppb by the end of the fiscal year .. LOL !!

The price of jet fuel is a reality of doing business. All airlines are going through the same meltdown. What would you do to keep your job?I talk to pilots all the time and they sound so greedy, even more than the top management that have their golden parachutes. To work in the airline industry right now sucks.I watch management make poor descions everyday. To think we go to college to do a job that keeps everone safe in the air everyday. Here we are stuck in job because of bills,ect...I hope my airline will offer me a buyout, I would take it and not look back.
