I understand there was a death in her family in Oregon. She is attending the funeral.
But with that said she needs to come clean and explain her self given increase in pay.
Teachers are being laid off and she gets and increase in pay. Does not compute.
Then this board is questioning a suspended executive director, who could not find an answer for this board. This board can't seem to figure out who to really blame I guess.

A serious problem is that the people at the top of IASB are more financially sophisticated and more knowledgeable in the law than the Board members that are supposed to oversee them. Though, I believe a few of the Board members may also be corrupt. The administrators at IASB are clever in the financial ways of scheming and skirting the law. I would not be surprised to see that in the end of a long convoluted trail, we will be told no serious laws were actually broken, a few may lose their high paying jobs, because of ethical issues, but no one will go to jail. I must agree that the Oversight Committee does not appear to be well organized, yet. I give them some credit for trying and I believe these are the early days of a fact collecting stage of a long and multi-level investigation. This process will take time and our legislators have a lot of catching up to do. I wish them luck.

Take off the kid gloves and get down to business, get the information and get them in jail where they belong, and if the Iowa Attorney General is not willing to help becasuse they are Demo, they put him in there with them.
They are crooks, all the talking in the world is not going to change that fact, lock them up like we did the others.
Then disband this organization and stop giving school money away.

I know many of the former executives. The ones that were ethically motivated were all either fired or asked to leave as soon as the new boss came into power. My dad handled their 401(k)'s for many years and all of a sudden the new boss got rid of him to. He did this to no longer have anything left from the old administration-which allowed him to cook the books. John Muller was a respected man by many. He worked for Governor Branstad for many years. He saw the current budget deficit back when Branstad was leaving office and Vilsack was coming in. John Muller should not be portrayed as a villain. Had he not been forced to leave, he would have seen what was happening before it broke to the news. Just so everyone knows, Larry Siegel and John Muller now do consulting for school boards that they took from IASB. They are not corrupt like IASB has become.

Subpeona kilcrease now, she is sounding very guilty. Spending the money lost and trying to cover it up. Making it impossible for the state to get the money back. Stop trying to be nice, the state needs the money to go to actual school funding.
