First wisdom do not address me as nutz, you may address me as Giglenutz. What type of medical professional makes stupid comments about a person/patients name? You are very unprofessional and you childish posts prove my point.

Now, you say free speech, yes on the internet maybe, but in real life you make this comments towards another person or healthcare professional and you WILL be sued for libel and slander not to mentioned kicked out of any TEAM healthcare setting.

Remember, your posts are you OPINIONS and are not facts and have not been proven in any scientific enviroment. Just as most comments are opinions

Now, if you as a medical professional look the other way knownly in cases like the vioxx scandal, then you are breaking the oak your swore and you are commiting fraud and you are a criminal supporting criminal activity. I think the att gen has spoken clearly on this subject. So wisdom, what do you have to say to all the family members of these dead patients all due to the scandal of vioxx? Come on man speak up? I bet you do not even care one bit? You by your posts are exactly what medical schools are trying to weed out. You sound like a loose cannon. Clearly not a physician.

Org medicine has many problems wisdom and you know that, they are pale in comparission to chiropractic. At least someone like our President Mr. Obama, has the courage to do something about it. He will succeed and I will vote for him again.

Are you prepared for the changes coming widsom? By your posts you sound very disturbed. What are you going to do, when you have to work side by side chiropractors acupuncturists and naturopathic physicians?

You are clearly not a real physician as any physician who really care about science would want to make sure things like vioxx never happen again.

Wisdom, grow up and ask for forgivenss for you ways?

There are those sites and people on the internet that will do what ever they can to stop Chiropractic from existing. They pose question that see to want to help the unknowning person interested in Chiropractic. They do this because they have either decided that it was not for them or that they could not make it because they are either too lazy or do not have what it takes to be successful. These people could have a DC and MD on their wall but it would not matter. I will not mention names but anyone familar will know who I am speaking about.

They key is not to listen to these people because they PREACH lies and false misleading statements about anything natural. These people have an agenda and they YES they do get paid for it, something they will never let you in own.

Subluxations do exist, that is a fact. For those who attack it, they have yet to prove it wrong. Then they want to say well it is up to the person saying they do. That is like saying Depression does exist but we cannot see it so it must not exist. Or Fibromyalgia does exist but we cannot see it. The same could be said about many (HUNDREDS) of disease or syndromes in medicine. But who can prove them wrong? They provide treatment and some get better? So goes with subluxations.

Yes BotNUT wisdom is in fact a buffoon. I know who he is, but why play his silly game? Let him post his heart out. This is the only place that allows people of his character to do that. Anywhere else that would block him. The problem is where he comes from they block anyone who corners them in a debate and makes them look like fools. I recently saw they did this to someone all because he proved them wrong. He laughs now because he was right and they were proven wrong and that is why they blocked him. Well let them roll in misery as it loves company.

I will say this Chiropractic is here to stay and will endure another 100 years and longer. The prove is in the pudding as patients get better. Also DC's are in fact PCP's and YES they do examine sick patients and diagnosis those same patients. Wisdom posts so much BS that no wonder he has to change his diaper.

Hey Wizzy I think you better post somemore as BotNUT will not be happy with you if you do not! FUNNY SO FUNNY

So goes the BotNUT chronicles

"truth" claimed about chiropractic students, "they do examine sick patients and diagnosis those same patients."

But wait, when I correctly pointed out the FACT that chiropractic students do NOT ever examine, diagnose, treat or refer truly sick patients before they graduate and claim to be qualified, "Nuttyboy" said, "well, they do examine sick patients, they just do it before they get sick".

Ha ha try to get your stories straight before I expose more chiropractic BS.

I particularly like "truth's" claim that, " Subluxations do exist ..."

Yeah sure they do "truth". And what bizarre chiropractic technique do YOU se to find those pesky subluxations? Tell me, I'm up for a good laugh.

You have only 3 more posts to go wisdom before your treat. I like how you show Truth and everyone else on how to spin peoples comments and posts esp the way you show people how to put words in peoples mouth as you did with my posts, hopefully people are stupid enough to believe my wisdom and not go back and see that he is actually lying. Lets keep our finger crossed wizzy

Now I think that HEMO and Pesto are fighting, as HEMO and DumbVIEW do not like the fact that Pesto reprograming is actually starting to have side effects, in that he still remembers when as a Chiro he was healing patients. I need you my wisdom to provide Pesto with more reprograming as you have had the opportunity to get.

You are my wisdom and I through you give it to the world. I am the BotNUT the reincarnated FishBEAN, the great one, I am the chosen leader of Anti Chiro.

Wizzy did you hear DumbVIEW sermon on Mt. Chiro early today, boy what a great way to stop chiro from healing. I think I will allow him to kneel before me this evening.

All I know is I couldn't move my right arm over my head for four days straight which meant I couldn't work (I do road work). I am a temporary so I couldn't get benefits. I took aspirin for four days which dulled the pain a bit. I went for one treatment from a chiropractor and within twelve hours my pain was all but gone and I was back to work. And the shocking feeling I felt down my arm also went away.
I've read some people's posts here. Lot's of negative folks. I don't care what anyone says--that chiropractor did wonders for me. And it didn't cost much. Just forty bucks. I think I got a deal. It's winter here in the midwest--cold as heck and I need to work until the ground completely freezes. I'm keeping the number of that chiropractor in my shirt pocket at all times just in case.

What is Chiropractic College like? Is it similar to medical college? I guess what I am asking is this "Do Chiropractors get a proper education to be a general doctor that a person can choose instead of seeing a MD?"

More people are looking for other options, I think the younger people in general. I myself included. I get sick and tired of seeing stupid ED commercials everytime I want to watch a game. I gets old after a while. I then start thinking that it really seems they want us to pop a pill for everything even when nothng is wrong with us. Then there is the stupid side effects on the commercials they read them so fast that is seems like I am at a used car sales lot instead of being home (where I actually am) trying to enjoy a Sunday game.

If any Chiropractors could explain what college was like I would be interested.

One of my friends is thinking of going for it.

Hi Willy, I am not sure if it is the same in the US, but in Canada, specifically at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College:

1)Students are required to have 3-4 years of undergraduate university training to be eligible for chiropractic college
2)Chiropractic students then undergo 4 years of chiropractic college
3)Chiropractic students have the first 3/4 years of their curriculum dedicated mostly to teaching the basic and applied sciences relevant to health care. This is done with 4200 hours of classroom studies in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, cell biology, histology, immunology, epidemiology, biochemistry, clinical nutrition, exercise science, neuroscience, neurophysiology, radiology and radiography, pathology, diagnosis, rehabilitation science, microbiology, orthopedics and toxicopharmacology. These hours also include manipulation training, training for treatment of special populations (children and geriatrics), health promotion, 2 courses in chiropractic philosophy, and 1 course in chiropractic technique systems.
4)The fourth year of studies is a clinical internship either at the campus clinic or at an off-campus clinic. This is split into 2 halves, each done at a different location. Students are required at a MINIMUM to see 40 new patients (5 of which can be 1st-year students and 5 can be family), perform 350 adjustments, perform 50 modality treatments, and come-up with, research, and write a paper for each of 3 different learning objectives for each patient.
-Chiropractic students are not required to do an additional residency program; but some are trying to change this. At the moment there is only a 2-year clinical residency program available to successful applicants, which includes 1-year at St.Mikes hospital.
5)Chiropractic students must pass board regulated exams in order to qualify to be licenced in Canada. These include 3 seperate exams, 2 theoretical and 1 practical.

Thus, your basic chiropractic physician graduating in Canada will have at minimum 7-8 years of university schooling, but only a few will have an additional residency.
I hope I have helped a little.
