2 ounces of pot and a drug tax stamp violation? Ohh, the humanity! So glad we stopped this maniac. Its all relative and the fact that cops either can't, or refuse, to see the error of pot laws makes me want to spit up in my Bert and Ernie cup. This story is written as pure propaganda. Anyone care to bet on the amount of alcohol consumed on a daily basis by the arresting officers? Drug cops need to be taught a lesson, whatever it takes to drive the point home in their little brains.

I think Congress had better pass a law on this. Druggies should be banned from storing their drugs in packaging attractive to children.

Glad my tax dollar could pay for such a big bust. 2 oz. Good job police. Way to get the big fish. Must be a slow news day.

So, his big crime is having plastic bags that could one day hold drugs in a "Sesame Street" children's cup as well as a user's amount of pot within children's reach (if they went into his room and opened the dresser it was in)?

Good thing the spent tens of thousands of dollars putting this dangerous fiend away. If we are lucky he will get the full 12 years and cost us another $300K.

They should stake out the liquor cabinet. Something literally 1,000's of kids die from every year. Oh that's right cops are boozers.

The headline "Man allegedly kept pot in children's cup" is incorrect. That man allegedly kept clear plastic bags in that cup. Don't the people who write these headlines bother to read the stories?

That's it, 60 grams? 2 ounces? 1/6 of a can of soda's worth? Sheesh, those cops are getting desperate for cash out there. I used to flush that much down the toilet when I got tired of cleaning and trimming all the weed I grew.

I'm missing the coverage of the anniversary of the National Guard shooting into a crowd of unarmed students at Kent State. We did get a good propaganda piece about how cannabis is the root of all evil. This is garbage jouranlism.

Absense of logic

When something seems so illogical, its usually because the "stated" goals are nothing like the INTENDED goals.

The Untied States Government was granted a PATENT on cannabis/marijuana in 2003. In April 2010, CBD, one of the many components found in the cannabis/marijuana plant, was quietly removed from Schedule I of the controlled substances act. Meaning, it can now be made into MEDICINE and STUDIED. That's right, your government is more than happy enough to saddle you with a criminal record and ruin your life so that they and they alone can have control of pot and benefit from it financially. AIDS, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Injuries, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, on and on, the conditions listed as being helped by CBD treatment are numerous and serious.((How's the government's claim of no medical application looking now??))

Does the war on pot make more sense now??? The FEDS want control of it. It's not that it is so "dangerous." It's that it is soooo incredibly valuable and useful to helping humanity. It is truly disgusting what the government is doing.

YES! Jury nullification. Time to end this madness and take the country back!
