Why is that because he knows how not to get fired...so tell us what blockbuster you worked for and when? Because I have never heard somebody complain about a company that they worked for unless they got fired our felt that they were wronged somehow!

No.... He may of quit just before getting fired for performance issues meaning he could not sell! It is ex-employees like him that put Blockbuster in the situation its in today! The store I work for is WIDE OPEN for business because we sell and rent a lot each and every week!

During my time with the company, it didn't matter if I sold 1 or 100 promotional items. All I knew is that after I left the company, the company was too sales-focused instead of service-oriented and set a course for downhill.

That is a load of crap! No company & I mean NO COMPANY! Will let under performing staff members just"get by". Ever company has to have people working to Meet or exceed! If not they would be in the shape of ...well blockbuster. And I'm sorry I for one enjoy having them tell me about the promotions that they have going on! I might not take them up on them everytime but when I do its out nice to know that they are there telling me about them! I think blockbuster IS HEADED in the right direction. They always want me ro fill out surveys and always on the floor and asking if I need help. They have change so much in the past four years that I was a netflix persons for two years. But now I'm with blockbuster online and I brag about it too my friends that have netflix and have converted a few of them....besides, now that netflix its about to get sued over online privacy rights, why would you want to be with netflix

My store had no discipline whatsoever. Employees that had access to movies and games before they came out to the public failed on so many occasions to return them to the shelves when it was time for customers to access them. No employee got punished for this and it was clear that the employees were not putting the customer first like they should've been. Multiply this situation times about 3,000 stores and you've got 3,000+ unsatisfied customers looking for an item that an employee selfishly possesses.

Well that is on you and your lack of managweren't control over your staff! I had friend that worked for blockbuster who was fired for not returning I think they calls them pre streets on time...he was mad about it but I told him what do you expect, your visiting the company money! So because you sucked at your Job, don't blame the whole company

yes, blae the whole bb outfit !! they ( bb ) sucked the life out of millions of people... If you like bb... then build your own dvd store... because ( for fact ) blockbuster is closing.. and closing fast !!! AND if your smart enough to read this... YOUR SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW, IT A FACT!!
BLOCKBUSTER IS GOING AWAY... JUST LIKE, HOLLYWOOD VIDEO, MOVIE GALLERY, VIDEO UPDATE, NATIONAL VIDEO, ETC.... the only difference is, BB , hurt a lot of good people ( employees /landlords /venders / other small business / members/ etc....... Along the way.... AND its just a PURE EVIL EMPIRE !

Nomo if your store "Ran A-muck' that was because your store manager sucked BUT more importantly NO ONE ON YOUR STAFF cared enough to call the District Manager or Alert Line and report the issue(s). The store I work in is STILL in BUSINESS and it run very well with many employees who care and want the store and company to succeed.

What happens..... HAPPENS! Nor you or me will have an effect on that. Dan can continue the childish Evil Empire thing but in Alaska I'm sure he is really bored and eventually is going to strap a bomb on his back and blow himself up in the name of all "evil empires". So watch CNN for someone named Dan from Alaska going crazy!

The issues with Blockbuster do not stop with employee carelessness. As a CSR, I knew that getting rid of late fees was a bad idea, but there was nothing I could do about it. I watched the customers, one by one, get confused, overcharged and never return to Blockbuster again. Rather than blurt out that I was right, I resigned on my own accord, knowing that the company just didn't care anymore. It was a good thing when I did because things just got worse after I left.
