CT Citizen,
What puzzles me is why you don't reveal yourself, but choose to hide behind your computer. If you are a GOD LOVING CONCERNED PERSON!!!! Who is so worried about everyone, you would not fear exposure to the public.

I'm going to start a group of concerned parents to work on insuring the new laws are inforced and the courts follow thru with prosecution of cases to keep our ROAD WAYS SAFE !!! Once again why don't you call me. Or you may still choose to hide like a COWARD !!!!

IN CLOSING THE VIGIL WAS A BEAUTIFUL GATHERING OF LOVING PEOPLE TO BAD YOU WEREN'T THERE!!!!

Want to keep our roadways safe? Then don't encourange punks to stand in the middle of the street and vandalize it by spray painting.
CT Citizen,
No one encouraged anyone to vandalize anything by spray painting. It wasn't a "spray painting/vandalizing" vigil. It was a candlelight vigil. An no one was hurt, or almost hurt and there were no accidents. You seem so concerned about the 'activities' at the site because they are so unsafe, and yet there have been no accidents there - not even a fender bender.
We've lost a lot of kids this past year and not a single one was lost by being distracted by a roadside memorial or spray paint on the street. They were lost due to speed and inexperience.
If you can't drive past a roadside memorial without being afraid you will cause an accident, maybe you need some more driver's education or maybe you need to be off the road completely.

If there was no one in the middle of the road at this vigil and there was no littering and no vandalizing.. what exactly is your issue?

I am amazed that out of 58 posts only 49 of them are posted. I can't imagine what was said that was so horrible and offensive that the posts had to be deleted. Is it truly necessary to be so hateful about a memorial?

David-

It is ridiculous that he has so much hate in him and that he feels it necessary to bash this story and so many others. I was not able to get to the memorial and I was very sad that I was not able to go. I was told it was beautiful. I only got to meet Alyssa a handful of times at some family get togethers and wish I could have known her better. She is in our thoughts often as are you and the rest of your family.

I saw you speak at Seymour High School last week and I wasn't able to give you my condolences in person, but I'm very grateful that you share your story with children to prevent reckless driving. Thank you.

Jerry must be very bitter! I lost my daughter in the crash. To say all the teens in the car did something wrong is a non factual poor opinion!! My family and I are working toward forgiveness. I hope Jerry can understand this. And yes there is a memorial fund set up for my daughter that will allow us to help people in her honor,is that wrong? lastly I appologize for the misprint in the paper with Sean's name. PEACE & LOVE
I guess a civil suit helps toward forgivness.
