Alyssa was one of my best friends. I knew Myles, Jordan and Sean. This is still a great loss to everyone, and always will be. It's been about 9 months now and it feels like it was yesterday. Everyone says this will get easier, but the truth is, it's not. I love each and every single one of these people with all my heart. R.I.P. Alyssa, Myles, Sean and Jordan. You will never be forgotten, i can promise you that.

OH, making threats over the internet tough guy? Is Mr. Roy that much of a hard ass? His daughter is that afraid of him? Sounds like child abuse to me. As for seatbelts...a crash like that isn't going to matter if you're wearing one or not. As for the other accident..guess I made a mistake. LOL! Still doesnt excuse Seans SH**** driving record! And no, regardless of whether you believe me or not, I have never received a speeding ticket.
wow um "Mr.E" let me just explain ONE thing to you. Do not EVER call Mr. Roy an abuser to Alyssa. I was her best friend, i was at her house everyday. My dad and Mr. Roy grew up together, i've known that family since the day i was born. Alyssa's father made a curfew for her, like most RESPONSIBLE adults would do for their children, She called her parents to let them know she was going to be late, and they were NOT mad, so once again, get your f***king FACTS STRAIGHT before you open you're mouth. Yes I do agree with you on one thing, Sean should have not been driving that fast, I do not forgive him for killing my best friend. But please out of respect for parents trying to keep their children safe, and having them come home at a set time. And another thing, Alyssa was never afraid of her Father. They were very close.
R.I.P. BABYGIRL, I MISS YOU SO MUCH.

I hate do defend Mr. E, because he has said a lot of really mean things throughout this whole commentary. However, I don't think he was being mean to Mr. Roy here. I think he was being sarcastic in response to someone who said that Sean was driving the way he was because Alyssa was afraid of being late. Clearly, Mr. E. didn't buy this as an excuse because all indications are that Mr. Roy is a devoted and loving parent.

I am so sorry to you and everyone else affected by this loss. You are all in my prayers.

You're right about that one! Some people are very insensitive.

Exactly, and the fact that he would even begin to say that, and if he was trying to be sarcastic, it's really rude. There was plenty of other things that he was saying that shouldn't have been said. I understand that most people are upset and mad and think that Sean is a killer and he shouldn't have had a car like that, and calling him a horrible person. 95% of these people leaving comments didn't know these kids, and i did. their just judging. Sean was an amazing person, he was very nice and caring. But I do not forgive him for doing this. I'll agree with everyone on that. He should have made a better choice, but that does not mean he is a horrible person. Everyone makes mistakes. it's a terrible thing, and it should have never happened.

The strange part is that so many of the people who have made the strongest comments are those who seem never to have gone through something like this in their own lives. I have, so I understand.

All of this anger towards Sean is not going to bring any of them back. All it does is keep hurting the people who are already suffering so much in trying to come to grips with their loss.

Please try to take comfort in knowing that there are so many of us out there who share your grief for your friends and for our own lost loved ones. I will continue to remember everyone affected by this tragedy in my prayers. Stay strong, take care of yourself & God bless!

if i want to defend my friend, i'm going to because i feel that sean and his family deserve better than the flagrant disrespect and bullshit you've been spewing.
i'm not saying that he made a good choice in driving at the speed he did that night, but i certainly don't think that anybody should attack him or his family. the kids in the car made their choices, too. if someone told sean that they wanted him to slow down, then he would have.
one last thing, then i'm done listening to your condescending comments: no one's "right" and it's just doing more damage when people like you start talking out of your ass just in attempts to grab some kind of superiority.
call me all the names and insults you want, but if your son were in sean's shoes, your perception on the entire situation would change drastically
if you did what sean did, you would want
Alrighty, here we go. Number 1 Mr. K no one knows what happened in that car. Everyone is assuming and making stuff up. Alyssa actually TEXTED one of MY friends, and said "Sean's going 110, and i'm scared" SO DO NOT SAY THAT ALYSSA, MYLES, AND JORDAN MADE A POOR CHOICE in the car. They were scared. Do not say they didn't do anything, because NO ONE KNOWS.

Does anyone know of a car accident involving a drunk/high teen driver crashing into someone's house sometime in 2007? One of the victim's may have been named David.
