Perhaps you are correct. There are some "Thick" blooded family trees in Osage City. For instance.. I can look at a crowd of people and pick out all the folks with "Sloop" (family name) blood in them. The Sloop blood line is distinctive. Even after several generations you can always see the "Sloop" look. Thank God I don't have any Schroeder in my blood or I'd be white skinned and have freckles!

Yea all is good in Osage City. Now that the city is sending out letters to residents with junk cars in their yard all should be great. A picture is worth a 100 words. The new city manager is doing a great job. He's fixing all the broken stuff in town. Out with the old and in with the new. Yea Yea Yea. At least we have a good library and Grocery store. I like it here.

There are many cases of inbreeding in Osage County...some of the resluts were astounding. It was a good way of keeping family farms strong and insuring the a good bloodline was kept intact. Since the social scene was lacking when i was young, we invented our own type of scandoulous affairs and sordid stories, most of which were faounded on truthful facts. Many family gatherings afforded young people the opportunity to meet future spouse material...several of my 1st cousins were within my field of vision but alas they let the family down by marrying into a totally different breed of people that was not of local bloodlines.
what better way to get to know your spouse than having spent 18-20 years growing up with them, in that time you know them better than most of the high brow people will ever know their spouses. Beside those famaly gathering were usually out in the boondock, opportunity to go to the woods or down by the creek was wonderful, many a summer night there was much fishing and snipe hunting going on in my family....just so you know, aal 14 of my kids are above average in IQ regardless of the close relationship their momma & I had before we got hitched and started squirting them out, and no we're not like to OctoMom on welfare...I work hard and the wife took in sideline work to get em all raised. |

If you have an old muddy truck and chew skoal you fit into Osage City. Need I remind you a loud exhaust on the vehicle would enhance your stay. Talk about white trash.... Its all here in Osage City... and we live in weird colored houses for $480 per month. Cigarettes, beer and perhaps a moped or bike. Now that's life.
Its amazing that nothing change here. Time warp. |
