Richard,

You are the trash that we dont want in our neighbor hood. Have fun moving; oh, and on your way out please drive the speed limit.

Wow...aren't you a little judgmental. I'm sure there is a nice quiet retirement village somewhere that would suit you well. My family and I are far from being what you might call, "white trash". I'm sorry to hear that you are so miserable where you currently live.

Sendera Ranch used to be nice, now all the Dallas low life scum moved in and it became instant redneck city. I have never seen so many nascar and confederate flags everywhere.

Funny; you must be talking of some other SR. I have yet to see one confederate or nascar flag. Even if I did, apparently I have much higher standards than you; See it's people like yourself who think they are better than the other which makes for an ugly environment. It's people like yourself who actually create the different "classes" of individuals. But what you dont and are failing ("failing" being an understatement) to understand is that it is you who created the "low-life" class or scum as you stated it. By doing so is basically putting you yourself into that bracket. It's kinda like "The kettle calling the pot black." I could go on and try to explain this to you a little bit more, but something tells me that no matter how simple I try to explain it, the lack of your intelligence makes it a waste of my time. With that said, I'll leave you with this; Thank God that people such as yourself are so anxious about leaving our neighborhood, I think I'm more excited about you leaving than you are.

Sendera Ranch is a parasite to the country life those of use who have lived in the Haslet area for years used to enjoy. The road leading to it is one lane and the congestion is ridiculous. What used to be a peaceful, country area is now infested with lower-class thugs and their tiny identical houses stacked 10-per-acre. And a Wal-Mart?? Are you kidding me? Can poor people not live without one of those trash-magnets less than a mile away? I feel bad for the golf course residents who built their half million dollar houses years ago, not knowing that something low class like Sendera Ranch would show up and trash their property values. Not to mention the Fort Worth cops that are everywhere now due to the increased traffic. Back in the day I would go weeks without seeing one, now I can't leave the house without getting pulled over. I'm moving out of this area as soon as I can.
Try slowing down and you won't get pulled over :P

SR is not that bad of a community. The homes on the smaller lots (north east side of Sendera Ranch Blvd/Diamondback) tend to attract the most crime. The schools are great and many of the neighbors are great and friendly. FYI, there are quite a few police officers and firemen that live in the neighborhood. Like any other place, there are pleasant and not so pleasant people. Big rims, stock rims, loud music, classical music, you'll find it all everywhere; SR is no different. Due to the affordability of the homes some of the homes have been converted to rental properties which do not do well. The airplanes overhead are not an issue. We live by an airport, but the runways run north and south and we live west of it. Getting stuck at a train is a common occurrence, but if you take Willow Springs to Hwy 287, you will bypass any train. I have lived in SR for 6 years and enjoy my neighborhood and all of my neighbors. However, you will find a lot of disappointment with the HOA. In my opinion, its a waste of money and its going to pay off a loan left by the developer which did not deliver all of the amenities. If you move to SR, I recommend the areas near Moonlake, Victory Bells, Fence Post, Bassett Hound, west portion of Diamondback or in the very back of the subdivision that is being built. Best of luck to you in your home search.
Do you know is the area around Zavala a crime area?

I'll believe it when I see it.... We've been told this for quite some time now. The last I heard was that they will not start the build until they make Avendale Haslet wider. If this is the case, it'll be a couple more years (as we all know, road construction takes some time).

I agree totally with what you are saying. But quite honestly, punctuation would help your case a whole lot.

OK Just an update to Wal Mart I was told by one of the people that do the WM remodels that the date has been pushed back to Summer of 2013... Wal Mart is putting their time into working the remodels atm and I cant comment on much more at the moment... I have seen that they had people over in the lot marking things Back in July.

Good news (at least a "ray of hope"). The dreaded 10 mile trip to WM in Saginaw gets old fast... We recently heard that the new WM is not going to be a "Super WM", but moreso of perhaps a "neighborhood WM" where are traditionally smaller (dont know how true that is, just repeating what we were recently told which was by a non reliable source.... So just file it under "rummor control").

I'm saddened to read the postings from the people who are either mistaking this neighborhood for another one - or are just intentionally being malicious. We moved here in 2006 and have absolutely loved the neighborhood. It's had its ups and downs due to the economy, but what neighborhood hasn't? It's had some issues with crime, but most were isolated crimes of opportunity. Do I feel safe? Absolutely! Would I recommend - yes, if you're looking for a home with the conveniences of the city, but the feel of the country. I'm glad to see others on this website who have the same feelings as we do!

There is one car that I think is a complete embarrassment to the neighborhood is a greenish Lincoln Towncar that rides about 1 foot high in the air (huge rins). I think nothing but trash each time I see it. Dont know how anyone could think its "cool" and I would rather take a bus than be seen getting in or out of it. Pretty sad when the rims are worth more than the car. I know many of you know which car I'm talking about.

I know exactly which car you are speaking of...It got a little better, at least he started turning down the sound system. Once he got into the neighborhood. You could hear it from John Day Rd...

Sendera Ranch is the ghetoo. Section 8 housing has ruined it, and Northwest ISD employees are complaining of all the trash and gangsters from new orleans that moved here. Move to rhome and live in hick city, not this ghetto hayseed hood.
