While I agree the sweet baby is in a much better place, where "he" will be safe and loved, I seriously doubt she used her newborn as a shield. It was a horrible accident, and the baby's fragile little body (his head, by the report)just couldn't handle the trauma. The mother, also, was injured, but recovered. Physically. The emotional pain will never go away.

Apparently you do not know this family as I do. There will be no charges brought foward as this was a horrible accident. She does not do drugs nor does her husband - the babies father. They live in a home her parents live in an RV incase you were refering to something there.
