Why are our VFD never included for donations in Obituaries? It's always the Rescue Squad. FD EMT's are the 1st. ones out to any Emergency until the Squad arrives. VFD does not get paid nd soley depends on donations. Emergency Squad also are Volunteers, and do a great service, but from what I undestand they also have paid EMT's.and get paid for the Squad transfers. I guess it's been a common practice for so long that people don't think about includidng the FD.
