What do you think about having to pay $25.00 delivery fee for your heating oil or propane if you get less then 150 gal.? Exploitation?

Try RUNNING a business sometime and see what its like to have to deal with nickle and diming people who want every service for free-- then I think you will understand that the DRIVER does not work for free- and is an expense that should be shared.
DOn't wanna pay delivery fees? Then go pick up your heating oil from the lot and put it in your tank yourself-- Im sure they will be glad to not charge you for pick up!

I never referred to the Driver as being his fault!! If the Business would think smart they would get it that we do have other resources. As far as paying $25.00 for delivery fee if you get less then 150gal., I still think it's not right and it's taking advantage of those that are less fortunate to be able to buy in larger quantity to safe the delivery fee.
You are an angry person..aren't you. Merry Christmas anyway.

In a way he has a point because a lot of people do want more than what they are allowed to get. It is not right to charge someone a lot of money to deliver heating oil. Then you think of rough weather we having over 14 inches on the ground and snow is still falling. I have worked in clients home where it was difficult to get to a tank. Some had fuel allowance for a certain type of fuel but they had two tanks oil for heating oil and one for another type of fuel oil. You could not combine the two. The delivery man could only put what Social Services allowed him to put in a particular tank. These same people think nothing of abusing services with Medicaid which leaves the people who really need things coming up short.
To this point creweite you are right he does seem to be an angry person. I hope he gets over that soon.
