A D11 dozer. It is huge!!! Not many ladies can handle it. Hard to get into tight spots.

Ebenezer McDougall has a three foot wrench. It's sure the biggest wrench anybody in these parts has ever seen.

You'll probably need to categorize this : shovels, pitchforks, hammers, etc.

John Bill Trivette has this absolutely huge crosscut saw he used to use when he worked in timbering. It's the biggest timber tool any of us have ever seen.

I don't think a tractor qualifies as a tool. And people don't count as tools, either.

l. Your Stupid : Just because you don't know anybody with any big tools doesn't mean you have to go around calling people names. If you'd go out and do a lot of work you'd probably know more about tools.

2. Jedidiah Cundiff has the biggest hoe in the county. It's about eight inches across and six inches up and down. He used to use it in tobacco. Since the government pretty much phased out tobacco to where it's not worth raising anymore, the hoe just hangs out in his barn now.

Crazytasty77---I'm a Burkesville guy who came up here to UK for college. I pretty much live in Lexington now but I come back down to Dale Hollow every weekend I can to fish. I do a little hunting in season and do a lot of backpacking over in the Big South Fork. Things up here in the city get a bit hifalutin so it's always nice to get back to the country and back to those fine Cumberland or Clinton County girls. As you have probably gathered from my posts on other threads, I disagree with those who think every girl in Cumberland County is promiscuous and everybody else down there is ignorant. I think in a lot of cases our political and school leaders have failed to provide the leadership we deserved, but the common folk are what built this country once and if we need to we'll build it again after this current bunch runs it in the ground. Since my family has been farming for two centuries I have a special appreciation for all those Cumberland County farmers. I've been fortunate enough to be able to afford to run around the country fishing, hunting and backpacking and I still think that stretch along the Kentucky - Tennessee line is the prettiest landscape I've seen. From all this information you can probably put the pieces together, but given some of the scary characters who lurk on the internet I do not think it wise to just state names on message boards.

Redneck--It does seem that people are forgetting their backgrounds and where they came from..I am not originally from here. I moved up here with my parents oh about 10 years ago from Florida. We pretty much just wanted a change of pace and at the time my grandmother lived about an hour or so away. I have seen your views on others posts, the bad will out weigh the good on most topics unfortunatly even if its not true.It is nice to see someone who has a more postive outlook on the people of his town and you stand up for it.Being that you live in Lexington I would say that it is a nice change to get to come here to hunt and get away from it all for a bit. The landscape is very nice here. I live towards the Kentucky-Tennessee line..I love the fall when the leaves change I think its beautifull..Being that I growed up in Florida I really didn't get to see that there. Thankyou though for taking the time to reply, well I have rambled long enough hopefully we will talk again sometime..

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Libra

If someone owes you money and you're beginning to think that you'll never get it back, this is an excellent day to chase them up. They may not cave in straightaway but at least you'll have had your say and done what you can. Watch out for a tendency to lose your temper, because although this could be quite dramatic if you're usually the soul of equanimity it could work against you if you become aggressive or unpleasant.
