hope everyones christmas is not like mine, alone.its so miserable, when your family is gone, christmas was such a wonderful when you could get up on christmas morning and everyone would gather around and have fun watching each one open their gifts.all my family has gone and i mostly spend the day by myself.noone to have christmas dinner with anymore, sure miss those days.just hope everyone remembers the true meaning of christmas is not the store bought gifts you recieve, but the blessings you recieve because this is truly the celebration of the birth of (jesus)and the love of family and friends.love you all and have a blessed and merry christmas from me to you.spent my christmas in vietnam in 1968,trying to preserve our freedoms, which we have truly lost.such a waste of lives that could be here now with families of their own.pray for the families that have suffered from this loss to these useless wars.i always thought that would be my last christmas, but i am still here but miserable and alone.yes i have family but they no longer have much to do with me,although i still love and miss each and everyone of them.

i forgot to mention, lets remember the many familys who have lost loved ones here so close to christmas in our prayers that god will give them the strength to get some enjoyment from this blessed holiday season with the ones they have left.and pray for the less fortunate that something special will come to them.just remember jesus loves you when noone else does.

I'm sitting with my two oldest grandsons drinking coffee and waiting for the rest of my younger Grandkids and their parents to arrive. You are not alone, you will be in our thoughts, and are with us in spirit brother. We would all like to thank you for your service, we are free because of the strong and proud like you.

many thanks to you mr.militia i know what it is to have served your country for seems such a useless cause whatever it was.i thought it was to preserve freedom, but i dont think that had anything to do with mine and your war.never new what the reason was,but we did our duty with not much accomplished.i spent christmas day 1968 in laikhe vietnam repairing a shot up helicopter.what a memory.thanks for your service also,i am sure i know you, just cant put a name with it,but we will always be brothers.have a merry christmas with what family you have left, enjoythem.
