The Obama administration has missed another annual budget deadline, failing to send Congress a mid-session budget review before July 16.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) confirmed Monday that the deadline for the review, due every year on that date, was not met this year.

“There will be a mid-session review and timing is still being determined,” spokeswoman Moira Mack said.

Last year, OMB issued its mid-session review on Sept. 1.

The document is supposed to contain revised spending, tax collection and deficit numbers to update the February budget proposal.

Releasing documents late has become a regular event at OMB.

Obama this year released his 2013 budget past deadline for the third year in a row. Under the law, the budget is to be released on the first Monday in February, but came out on Feb. 13 this year.

The Obama administration also delayed the release of the budget last year, waiting until Feb. 14.

Republicans have linked the delays to the failure of Senate Democrats to pass a stand-alone budget for the last three years.

"This makes a more significant statement than the president’s recent speeches and interviews professing his vigilant stewardship of the nation," Senate Budget Committee Ranking Member Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said Monady through his spokesman. "Combined with $5 trillion in debt accrued since 2009, and the refusal of his Senate majority to produce a budget for three years in the midst of crisis, it reveals a troubling detachment from the financial future of our Republic."

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) pointed out that the mid-session review has never been delivered on time by Obama

“The Obama administration’s continued failure to meet the statutory deadline to report the midsession budget review is unacceptable for a government tumbling toward a debt crisis," he said.

When it comes to responding to your posts, it has nothing to do with intelligence. No one wants to waste as much time as you do posting your crap.

President Obama submitted his 2013 budget proposal to Congress. It won’t get passed, of course, but it is still a good snapshot of the budget priorities that Obama is proposing and offers a clear contrast to what Republicans would like to do.

As per law, Obama has submitted a budget for each fiscal year he’s been president — fiscal years 2010, 2011 and 2012, according to a quick check on the Government Printing Office’s website, where the documents are posted. It’s as simple as that.

As you know, the job of passing a budget resolution is not the president’s. That responsibility falls to Congress, and even then the president doesn’t sign it. The president has no role in passing a budget. The president can cajole Congress about passing a budget and advocate for positions and funding levels, but in the end, Congress approves the budget resolution for their own purposes.

There is a grain of truth in that two of Obama’s budget requests failed to pass. But citing those votes leaves a wrong impression -- namely that the votes were anything more than political theater. Republican pundits omit the more critical information that passing a federal budget is the job of Congress. They pass a budget and the president's job is to spend the money

As embarrassing as this is to admit, I think I may be responsible for this dilemma. I screwed around again this year, and was completely unprepared for the April deadline. For the third consecutive year I have been forced to file for an extension, and I'm sure my not fulfilling my obligation, has caused a financial butterfly effect on an unimaginable scale. I hope the country can forgive me, and I promise I will do better next year.

Maybe you should get your head out of your end and read his post it might do you good.
I heard a Black Man on a Tv interview the other day make a comment that really disturbs me and it disturbed him also.He said the poll shows that 96 percent of Blacks were voting for Obama and they were doing so just because he was Black,
I haft to admit that i had more faith in the Black people then that this Man stated that a lot had been interviewd and most could not even give one example of any good thing that Obama had accomplished except the fact that he was black.
I know the black people are proud they have a Black President but my opinion they better vote him out while he still has a little dignity left because if he stays another 4 years he will disgrace the Black race so bad they will never live it down.
I wonder what the Blacks would say if the whites made remarks they would vote for Rommney just because he is White.Or are they smart enough to say they will vote for someone who is qualified to be President no matter what color.Guess thats the difference in Whites & Blacks one is raceist the other not raceist and that poll told us which one.

I always get a little chuckle when I hear a bigot try to sound like he's NOT a racist. No matter how hard they try to disguise it their racism is so obvious.

Must be referring to thine own self just because someone post the truth dosnt make one a racist but to vote for a President just because he is black does make a raceist especially a Man trying to destroy your Country.
You know since i'm a raceist i believe i'll just vote for my own skin color from now on i really dont care if he knows anything or not just as long as he is my color he will get my vote.
I get a little chuckle when somone tries to slur another person just so they can change the topic,You Bob are the biggest raceist that has ever been on this topic admit it you are black a liberal democrat you hate whites and you will vote for skin color and democrats and nothing else.
