Here's the question-Did you know that the UN owns 25 of our major National Parks and Monuments?? National Parks are supposed to be owned strictly by the American Public. These are OUR parks and monuments, and have been ever since they were designated as National Parks.
Send this to running candidates, senators, Legislators, Congressmen,etc. Not many people actually know about this list, and if they've heard of it, they do not know the entire list. Tell them to print it out so they have a hard copy on hand to show others. I have once again also attached the UN wildlands project map to accompany this email. The closest one to my heart has to be Glacier Park and to think that the UN now owns it, simply makes my skin crawl! The American Heritage Act is run by Laura Bush and we currently have somebody from England here in Stevens County pushing the Heritage Act on us in the form of Public-Private Partnership grants. This list needs to be viewed as an action item and brought up at any and every public meeting. In fact public meetings around the USA need to be held BECAUSE of this;

The list..........

who do we trust

First thing, the linked group and proposed bill should use "Untied States" and not "American" as that signifies a much larger group than just the USA.

I wonder if we can trust the US Government with these special places in the USA?

There have been many heated debates about the use of preserved areas for logging and oil exploration. Entrusting those areas to the United Nations might be a good idea to prevent the USA's administrations from destroying things that can never be replaced. Some areas are more important to the world than just one country, such as the rain forests of South America. To have the United Nations take charge of such areas may be the best solution.

It would also be interesting to know how these parks have already been designated to the United Nations?

government is bad - but it is sometimes, only sometimes, a necessary evil -
big govt is worse - really big govt is even much worse -
the u.n. is about as big as it gets - making it the worst solution for just about any problem -

ceding u.s. property to the u.n. should be a chargeable offense under treason laws -

S Dolly - You might want to read a little beyond the headlines on this subject. If you do you'll quickly understand that the UN does not OWN any of our National Parks. The MAB program is a UNESCO [UN] operated program that signifies internationally recognized sites around the world based on specific critera. While several US national parks have been designated sites in the MAB program, these parks are not owned by anyone other than the US government.

UN involvement in anything can pretty much assure you that it will accomplish nothing and will produce only hot air.

Ah so true!! The US should evict the UN from NYC and stop funding all of their programs. This is not likely to happen but we can at least dream.

Did you know the Rockefeller family donated the land where the UN is? I'm not for certain, but I believe the Rockefeller family funded the construction of the building.

As you may already know, the Rockefeller family owns and controls a part of the privately-owned Federal Reserve. The Rockefellers are a part of the biggest scam this country will ever see. Printing paper money without anything like gold or silver to back it up, and then charging interest for the use of the inflationary paper money is fraud. We're all paying the price for what the banking cartel did to us on December 23, 1913.

The Rockefeller family promotes world de-population and a New World Order. They're the main family behind the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderbergs, Trilateral Commission, and other private groups that have a hidden agenda for world domination. They control most all major media, so most of the news media is propagandacized to condition blind "sheople" of this country. They control what we eat, what we drink, our education, and how long American troops will stay in foreign territory to fight a war for their profit. The Rockefeller family is probably one of the most evil families on the face of this earth. The most evil family would have to be the Rothschild family.

The best thing this country could do is abolish its affiliation with the UN.

Got to ask, where do you come up with this? I am often accused of drinking the right wing coolaid, but none of this has ever showed up in the talking points and political teachings that we Rep's and Conservatives get each day of our lives.

The Rockefeller's seem to be real movers and shakers. I'm surprised that we don't hear more about them on the 24 hour news channels. You'd think Air America would have been all over this national secret.

Okay, now I'm a bit confused ... It's been pretty much common knowledge that Old Smokey and some, if not all, of the others are owned by the International Bank, where did the UN come from??? Just wondering where or how that came about, but, I think we need to check out the ownership, who has title. I'll bet it's NOT the USA! Oh well,... for what it's worth and I guess that's what it's all about<br>

I believe that control over our national heritage sites was given to the UNITED NATIONS in a treaty back in 1972. I dont know which president did that but I was very dismayed that we may still own the parks and historical sites but have given CONTROL of them over t0 the UN.
I came across the following at WIKI Answers:
In 1972, our government signed the United Nations' World Heritage Treaty, a treaty that creates "World Heritage Sites" and Biosphere Reserves." Selected for their cultural, historical or natural significance, national governments are obligated to protect these landmarks under U.N. mandate.1 Since 1972, 68 percent of all U.S. national parks, monuments and preserves have been designated as World Heritage Sites.2

Go back and reread post #7. The UN does not have any decision makeing control of any of the National parks. This is a red herring put out by the crazies. Should we have signed on to anything to do with the UN? Absolutely not. Does it mean anything? absolutely not.

"we may still own the parks and historical sites but have given CONTROL of them over t0 the UN."

is a VERY true statement. We only have "control" of them until the UN decides that what we are doing is not in the best interest of the UN. That is the bottom line small print of what happened in 72.

Until Obammmmmmma was elected as KING, I would have pointed out to you that there is no binding authority of any kind giving the UN any control over the parks. With this guy I think anything is possible. With or without any bogus 72 agreement, Obammmmmmma seems predisposed to be a global president. The national parks will never come under the UNs control. What if anything, is that Obammmmmmma will implement environmental regulations to further protect these areas. Ah, but then he is doing the same to the rest of the country anyway, so what's the difference.

The National Parks are owned by the US people.
The UN Heritage thing is an agreement for the
preservation of their natural beauty.
The UN doesn't pay for anything. Or control.
It is to add some impetus to preserve these
sites.

Just a quick note. What's happened to our Country? Since when is our National Parks for sale? Since when is it right for Congress to sell our country piece by piece just because they can't manage to spend within their means.
People unite!! Unite behind a good cause like the 9-12 group or the Tea Party who's got every type of person involved to help save this nation and protect our kids heritage.
Its time We The People take a stand and quit allowing politicans the right to steal our heritage, our freedoms and our very existance. Its time accountability is brough forward and its time we look upon the wishes that our founding fathers set the country to be based upon. If you feel the same, join a 9-12 group or a tea party group. For that matter demonstrate in the streets and shout from the rafters your feelings about the beloved country we still have. Help bring this grand old nation back to its roots.
Yours ln Liberty!!
Big Bob
