We didn't know anything about it, or my child would have been there, but after I found out it was a pageant and dog show combined, I laughed til I about peed, and was thankful we weren't there, because I would have been humiliated!

Excuse me, but you tell me just WHO in the group(and get the group right)-that you think wasn't right in the 7-12 month group?? My daughter was in that group, so I am VERY interested to know just EXACTLY what your comment meant? I am pretty sure I know exactly who posted this, and I am pretty sure it is because your daughter did not place!

SORRY-wrong pageant post-I thought you meant the pageant they had at the center on Thursday night-it was a baby show and a dog show combined. I didn't realize you meant the Harvest Fest.

I would LOVE for you to tell me who you don't think deserved their wins in the 7-11 month group? MY daughter did very well, as she does everywhere she goes, so you please tell me exactly who you thought should have won? The kids who cried and screamed? What about the one that splattered out on stage because she couldn't walk, but they tried to make her...should she have won? You have alot of balls to point out the one age group with the most kids in it, with the kids who DEFINATELY deserved their wins, and say you couldn't believe the winners in that group. I couldn't belive the winners in another group, but it was the judges decision, and I sure wouldn't point out the group!

every child is beautiful why do people think they have to put them in some pageant? Just because your child doesnt win, doesnt mean anything. I think its the parents that are idiots, for puttin their children through all of that. EVERY Child is beautiful no judge can determine that

The thing is, the woman who started this will not respond, because I know who wrote this on here, and I know why she wrote it, and could call her out by name, but will save her the humiliation. She was the one stomping across the gym, and I heard her tell her baby to "shut up" when the baby cried. She was mad because her daughter did not place, and now is trying to take the wins away from the kids who deserved them. Just so you know, this is a mother from that division, and yes, my daughter did do well, so I do not appreciate your comment. To this mother-you came and talked to me as soon as I walked into the school, and acted friendly, then stomped off immediately after your child didn't place, and wouldn't speak. Just something you might want to remember-I didn't judge the pageant, the judges did. I thought your daughter was adorable, and was suprised she didn't place, but just because the judges saw it differently is no reason to start a post making it look like the kids who did win shouldn't have. Anyone in the audience can see, there were very happy, beautiful children in that group, and there were some other pretty kids who did not show any personality at all, and did not want to be on the stage, and it was obvious. To the mother who posted this, and yes, I know who you are-please do not bother speaking to me at the next pageant I see you at, because being stabbed in the back is not something I voluntarily sign up for. You know exactly who this is, we talked for a little while. As mentioned, I will save you humiliation, and not call you out on your childish antics, but just stay away from me in the future. There is enough negativity in this world. Let our children enjoy their wins without you being so rude and unkind over bitterness and jealousy. Have a nice day.

This is to pageant mom 2 I am sorry that your child didn't win, but needless to say they are not gonna win every one they are in be proud of the ones that she has won. I think I know who you are but not for sure, My niece did win that age group and I think she is a very beautiful little girl and I'm sure you thank that about your daughter to my niece hasn't always won but that is part of being in a beauty pageant you win some and you loose some. I think all the little girls were very beautiful. Sorry that you feel so sad that your child didn't get first place better luck next time.

My daughter won 1st RU, Most Photogenic, and 1st RU in costume in the 7-12 month group. I also know who made this post, and I think it is in very poor taste to make such a comment. I don't need you to tell me my daughter is beautiful, because she is beautiful to me inside and out. I almost died after having her, and was told I could never have another child 3 months prior to finding out I was pregnant with her. God knew more than the Dr.'s, and I am thankful for that. Saylor is a miracle baby.
At 12 months old, she has won Nationals, State pageants, holds several out of state, fair, and festival titles, as well as recently winning the Bluegrass Festival and Cordell Hull pageants. I for one, am proud of her accomplishments to be only 12 months old, and was very happy with her wins yesterday. No child will win first place at every pageant. Having directed my own system for 5 years, and judging pageants for years, you realize, not everyone has the same opinion, and you are paying for the opinion of those judges, on that day. All of the little girls in this age division were beautiful, and to the mother who is making these posts, I think it is very spiteful to say that our children did not deserve their wins.
Congrats to you Chloe, although I do not know you, you were adorable, and Congrats to my beautiful baby girl Saylor, and to the little girl who won 3rd, I am sorry, I forgot her name. All of the costumes were so sweet also. I have enjoyed entering my daugter in pageants in Cumberland County over the past 12 months, but will not subject her to being ridiculed by people who call themselves adults. This is the reason many mothers pull their children from pageants.
Learn to just smile, and go on. If you do not like the results of this pageant, the next one may be better. Just enjoy the time you get to spend with your children. I just lost my cousin and her 3 year old son in a car accident. You never know which day may be your last. Make them all memorable. God Bless.

HI,

I don't get on here much and have never posted a thing on here, but just thought I would add a few small things. My daughter won 1st runner up and i couldn't have been more proud of her. I mean, would I have wanted her to win? Of course, but hey, can't win them all. can't even place at them all. That is the bad thing with the whole Pageant idea. Beauty, as the say goes, is in the eye of the beholder. And anyone out there that doesn't think their child is the most beautiful would probably be lying to you. I mean thats natural. The judges do the best they can, and I sympathize with them. I judged one pageant and i can tell you one thing, i wont ever do another. I mean it's so objective, it's difficult. Especially when we are talking children and infants. Anyway, I think we need to think about the children and realize that the judges don't have it easy, and that our children don't have to win a pageant to be beautiful. We should enjoy doing them to spend time as a family, thats it. Stop belly aching about your children not winning. I mean, if you are going for the sole purpose of winning. You will be more disappointed then it's worth. Anyway, Congrats to my daughter, Saylor, and I hope she enjoys them. I know the minute she doesn't we wont do them anymore. God Bless Everyone
