it's come down to Herman Hill and Webb Coe! It's such a difficult choice if you pick poor old big dick Herman then the blacks will yell racist and if you pick Webb then whites will say it's because he's black so go figure!

That's a difficult choice. I like the way Herman boogies down when his pants are loaded down with his bottles of whiskey. Then there's Webb smiling from ear to ear looking up at the sky talking about something all the time. Hmmm...I can't decide which one I want to vote for. You have made a very good point though...I didn't even consider the racist issue. Maybe they should just have them both as Grand Marshals!

You're right, they would. But, the little black kids from the hill will be wanting a black Santa Claus. Now we gonna need two Santa Claus' also. This is turning into a big issue now. Oh my goodness!

That's wonderful and a great choice. I don't know who came up with Mrs. Nancy as the choice, but, kudos to that person for their idea. She is a remarkable lady who dedicated a huge part of her lifetime working in our local school system and still volunteers many hours there and in other groups and organizations in Burkesville. Mrs. Nancy always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude and and a kind word for everyone she sees. I'm sure she is quite honored to do it!

I was really happy with the parade this year I thought it was really good it was better then some in the years past it seemed to be longer I was happy to see how many people turned out to see it the streets was lined with people before 4:00 and I think Pam and Jermey did a good job on the radio to thanks to everyone involved it was good

Ha! Another crappy parade organized by a committee composed of people who think they know everything, especially one committee member in particular. The first mistake was scheduling the parade on the same night as Glasgow's parade...DUMB! Might as well just give it up and chunk it...having the Burkesville Christmas parade is a waste of time, money, and energy.
