*sigh*

why does it matter what color the guy is if he treats her right? he could be green and the greatest guy EVER. if he treats her badly, then that's a problem, too, no matter what color he is.

all I can say is none of my business what kids date, as long as mine don't. i HAVE BLACK AND WHITE FRIENDS, BUT WE TREAT EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT. BUT NO I DON'T BELIEVE IN IT, BUT THATS JUST ME, TO EACH THEIR OWN.

If your child can stand everyone treating them different and being talked about. Then let her do it. Lets face it's not a perfect world and regardless of of how we want the world to feel , they don't.
The only problem I have with this situation is when mixed couples have children, and I have seen the kids be pushed out by both races. They really don't fit in with the whites and they really don't fit in with the blacks.
Although it is important on how one treats their mate, we cannot change how society treats our kids ,or how they look at them when they are in a interracial relationship. We can get on here and act like the redneck country hicks society views us as , and that is not going to change the way the world really is.
I guess I am trying to say bashing each other on here will not change the views of our society, and after all , we do live in the south ,and that in itself makes it worse.

you needto read your histery a little better, the blacks were pertected in the south and also given land by there plantatison owners, when the north defeated the south they took all the land, also taking there homes to,then turned around and promusted them 40 ac.and a mule but that didn't happen,so watch what you say about the south

this has gotten to be the stupidest post that i have ever read. i date a black man and have been with him for several years. he is so good to me and i couldn't imagine myself with anyone else. i didn't fall in love with him because of the color of his skin, i fell in love with him because he is a wonderful person. so many people in this world need help, get a life and let everyone else live theirs.

My daughter married a black man and they have beautiful well adjusted children who are loved by black and white folks alike. The color of your skin shouldn't be a factor. It is your heart.

People are people. If white men would learn how to treat their women, we might not want to cross over so quickly, and ladies once you do, you wont be going back! And if most women are honest with themselves, you cant deny that you have never been curious???? Most of you are worried about what people will say about it or you would be doing it. It is an experience like no other. It gives you a different kind of glow!!

Well, when i have a girl. YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS i would let my daughter date a mixed or black or whatever color or race guy she wanted. I have a son and when he gets old enough to date he can date whoever as long as they treat him right. It has nothing to do with someones color. Why do you people like judging someone because of their color? I have dated black and mixed and hispanic guys and my boyfriend has also dated black and mixed girls, and there is nothing wrong with it. People you need to realize that this is 2009 almost 2010 and not 1950 or whatever. We white peoples are no different from the different races, they are just as good as white people.

your right it is almost 2010 and 80 percent of black people will do time in jail. So why not let your girl get strung out on drugs and get beat on. If you let it happen its just as much your fault as anyones. God made everyone diff. If he had intended on every one being mutts then he would have done it hisself. Just because it almost 2010 that doesnt make anything ok.

FYI, I am not from up north, I am from right here in Burkesville. And I never said I didn't like the south. I merely said it is not accepted in this area and I don't think I was wrong in saying so.
And for the record I would NOT let my daughter date a black guy, and that is my right as a parent.
