I have to agree w/unknown....for all you who say you can "ride", I've seen their students ride in shows/videos on youtube...at shows all the riders have incorrect equitation on the flat and over fences...none of them placed...in the video on youtube, this girl was trotting around the ring on the wrong diagonal and no one told her to change it, as if they didn't know themselves. That is the kind of "training" you receive there. those to me are warning signals that this place doesn't know how to teach

u guys that say its not good u have no brain.and if u dont go there and see that place and ride there u just hear about it then u are are just not smart at all.they treat u like the best and they make sure to give everyone one on one time to all the people and horses.its the best the owners dad had built that place and his dad had died a lil while ago.and i think he has takn very good care of it.they treat the horses the best all the time he had trained all of the horeses him self hes the best tainer ever even for people the owners name is tim majeskyand cherly majesky.

Tamarack is a great stables with a lot of nice people and nice horses. Tim is growing grass for the horses and soon they will have grass to graze in. By the way, does anyone know what the boarding fee is for someone who rides there?

Tamarack Stables is great! I have learned so much from Tamarack... and you will too! All of the instructors are very helpful and will teach you a lot. The horses are sweet, and a pleasure to be around. Honestly, Tamarack is a great place. Don't just go by what other people say, go check the place out yourself! The trip will not be wasted!

I reccomend tamarack for everyone, more than I can say for woodlawn. Its a easy drive from northern va neighborhoods. If you want lessons, trail rides, pony parties, girl and boy scout adventures, boarding, showing, etc tamarack is good for you. Those of you who left bad reviews: dont judge the place if you havent been there.

tamarack stables is the best place for kids of all ages it is good for girlscout/boyscout trips and they have wonderful service. I would totally recomend tamarack to anyone that is interested in riding and horsemanship.

Tamarack stables is amazing... they provide a clean, safe, enviorment for children and adults of all ages. There are many instructors and they all teach in their own unique ways. I reccomend Tamarack for anyone, beginner-advanced!

OMG from reading the reviews I really want to try this place! It sounds awsome :) quick questions though. What shows do you guys go to? Do you go to upperville or culpeper(I do the rated pony divisions)?? And how much is board? I just moved here and hope to bring my pony up :D

need2ryde: The show team is starting a new season, Im not sure about the rated shows but they do show on the Prince William Horse Association Series and Frying Pan park series. Im sure we will do some rated shows this season. Board is $450 a month (last time I checked)including a stall. If thats too expensive there is also a boarding stable called Colchester Hills next to it.
