In need of vacation rental for July

Help! We'll be visiting our son who's stationed at Sheppard AFB next month. We need a place for the two of us plus our two grandchildren and son. Was hopeing to get a cabin at lake Bridgeport for 4 nights but that was $1275! OUCH!$200 is deposit but still a lot of money for 4 nights. If anyone knows of a place I could sure use the help. Our son only has one bed so that's out. Hate the idea of staying in a hotel with a 7 and 9 year old. Thanks for any advice.

When do you need it and how close do you want it? Bridgeport is a ways down the road. Would you be willing to stay in a nice house of a church lady that was recently remaried and is spending time between Henrietta and Searcy, Ark.?

We're looking for Aug. 9th thru the 12th. Would you have pictures and what would the cost be? Is it near the lake?
