Akron office might lose certification

Akron's building department has failed to adhere to the rules and procedures established by the Ohio Board of Building Standards.

In response to Builder Bobs comments defermating the name of city building inspector Kim Wooley. Attacking a persons name in response to unfounded allegations being posted against the individual shows the level of ingnorance amoung contractors and builders in this area. Though I relize builder bob doen't represent the mass population of contractor in the area, he does represent a some of these unqualified individuals. Imagine having to be Kim Wooley and go to a job site where the guy in charge is builder bob. When you arrive you can just imagine the building code violations this guy has going. Most of those violations will be someday endangering the publics safety in some way, private residence or public building. Can you imagine how builder bob is going to react when Mr. Wooley has to tell him that his stairs are going to fall down. Probably on the same level of a drug dealer when a cop tells him he found his stash. If we didn't have guys like Mr. Wooley or other code enforcement officers then guys like builder bob could continue to screw the citizens of akron by constructing poor buildings at the cost of you the citizens. And if you think the damage is done only to the citizens who contract builder bob then you are again wrong. Everytime builder bob constructs another piece of junk he is contributing to the lower real estate values in this area. Crappy homes lead to crappy market. So thanks buildr bob for showing us all how ignarance is helping to slowely ruin this once wonderful city.
