Will this bridge ever be repaired or replaced? The one lane still open seems to be less safe each year and the other side is an eye sore. Why has this simply been closed and nothing has ever happened with it?

The original bridge (the covered lane) was closed because it is ANCIENT. The other side, while old, is still structurally sound. I don't know why there hasn't been any action to repair or replace, and forcing both eastbound and westbound traffic to use the single lane is a disaster waiting to happen. Where's that stimulus money when you need it?
