Order a item at lowes that was over 500 it arrived i went to pick it up after i called and told it was there 10mins later got there .took ten mins and had to hunt someone down they take me to front desk had my receipt in hand and was toldme they gave my product to someone already told a woman came in without id or receipt and signed my name to it and they probably even loading it up for her so beware doing business with people that don't care bout your money but we as customers are how they stay open and make paychecks

I would get the manager and tell him of the problem.
It sounds like to me it is their problem. You have the receipt and not the lady that took it.
I would DEMAND them to get me another one. I would not stop till I got it. They need to confront the person that let the lady take it. Not your fought.
But I think by law they have to have the receipt for them to let them have it. Again, they should have to owner this. Or see an attorney.$500.00 is a lot of money they will have to eat. Good luck!!! Don't let them not do this.

story sounds false. How would some stranger know what he ordered and his name? could it be his wife picked it up, then he tried to pick it up later so he can get two for one?

I hate to say this but u can not get the product without someone signing a ticket they print one when they take the product out of the building so ask for a copy of the pick up ticket

Sounds like something that would happen there. Last visit it took 4 people to find the weather outside pipe covers for me and only the last lady gave a crap to go with me and look. Of course they were in a crazy place. Just like the venting for a dryer which was over by lumber??? And the outside register has trouble everytime I am there and I have to haul plants and crap inside to check out. Alot of nice people, several lazy ones, and a really weird way of displaying products. But better than no lowes. I'll keep them cant bear losing anymore in this town.

Actually...it's sounds rather questionable. If I went to Lowe's to pick up a purchase, they would be getting me a new one. I rather doubt that they would not ask to see proof of purchase. Could this a disgruntled employee by chance?

tell the store manager that you want a refund now ( if you paid cash you want cash back if you charged it you want your card credited) if they want to order this again and you want it ask for a discount for your trouble and do not pay for it untill the item comes in if they give you one once of shit about this call headquarters in charlette, north carolina and speak to a manager on this do not accept a gift card in the amount of the $ 500.00 you spent you do not have to spend that card in lowes because of their screw up. do not take this lying down this is probaby a inside job of stealing

I can believe something like this can happen at Blytheville's Lowes.

I've recently made a special order, they ordered the wrong size and tried to blame it on the 3rd party installer. However, they had told me earlier that they (Lowes) had lost the paper work the installer faxed to them.

I could have gone to Home Depot in Jonesboro quicker than how much time I spent getting this corrected.

Here I ran across this and thought really? This idiot that posted this is a true work of art! We purchased the water heater to replace ours that has recently went out. The day before it is scheduled to come in he beats my ass. Punches me in my face, pulls hand fulls of my hair out, kicks my legs and hit me anywhere else he could.There has not been a day go by in the last 6 months that I have not had bruises all over my body. My stupidity! So he leaves and then the next day i go to pick up OUR hot water heater that had come in! He out weighs me by ohhh about 200 lbs. We both work and Im so sorry he chooses to act like a chump and has to abuse women. Any other questions?

They have good management. Just give them another try. If it isn't done to your satisfactory, go to the general manager. He will correct it. Bashing the store leads to people not shopping there, which then leads to the store packing up and closing here. Don't need that to happen.
