Man found slain at suburban gas station

Police are investigating the murder of a southwest suburban Burbank man who was possibly beaten to death at a gas station in neighboring Bridgeview early Wednesday.

I think that the men who did this should get the death penalty!!!!! No one has the right to do that to someone. They should not get out on bail and should get the same treatment that they did to that poor guy and his family!! And I have a comment to Bridgeview police!!! I guarantee you if I was going 5 miles over the speed limit on 87th and Harlem, your dumb asses would be right there to ticket me but too cowardly to be there when there is a "REAL" emergency.

I just don't get how and why someone would go get gas at 12 midnight where he happens to join 2 other friends? The 3rd man that yet has been arrested. What will his story be? The 2 turned themselves in. I think there is alot more to this story. Agree, a senseless death. RIP

Well I think if it were the "attackers" intent on actually killing the man they would have fled and not turned themselves in. I've know matthew my whole life and that's just not how he is. It was a gang fight near chicago. You should expect this shit...three on three in a gas station at midnight in the middle of severe weather sounds like there's more to this story. I'm sure they are dealing with what they did in their soul and they will live with it for the rest of their lives.
