I've been to about half of these shows. They are amazing! Better, hipper, more cutting edge comedy lineups than you would see anywhere else in LA, in a really groovy coffeehouse.
And the comics never seem to cross that "gross for gross sakes" line that they do so often at "The Comedy store" or "The Laugh Factory". And I know there is a "no notes onstage" policy, which keeps the show looking (not just sounding) very professional. All for a minimum donation of $5!!! I usually give more.
It's definitely the best entertainment value in the valley...if you like comedy. TOO BAD IT'S NOT WEEKLY!
