Since this company has started working it's employees 7 days a week, they have had more accidents/injuries , absenteeism, and managers and supervisors have been sending out messed up parts just so that they can get thier numbers.
These poor employees are not being able to spend time with thier families or do work that is needed at thier homes.
I think something needs to be done about this! This is in no way fair to thesr poor people who need thier jobs, but also need rest! What can we do?!?

stop whining and be thankful you have a job, the overtime is temporary and when its over everyone will be complaining they need the money, grow up

Obviously you are the one who needs to grow up. Learn how to talk to people like you have some class and some sense.
Also, I do not work for Barrette, I sub-contract there and observe the work atmosphere. Plus, the company is going to come across problems with the other comanies it sells to if they keep sending out bad parts. They already get bad reviews online from people who buy thier stuff from Lowes and other stores.
I don't care what you say, I know I'm right about this. People in the office are already talking about all of the employees missing so many day since they started 7days a week. So next time you want to have a smart mouth, make sure you have something smart to say.

I am grateful for the overtime. If your not an employee there than mind your own business. You can't make any money sitting home, jerk off.

first off if you are sub contracted you havent been there long enough to know anything smart to say. this company has been sending out bad parts for years and quess what we are working 7 days a week to fill multiple orders, i have plenty of class ill tell who doesnt the people whining and complaing that the company is making them work 7 days a week in order to stay in business so that they will HAVE A JOB maybe the company should tell their customers to piss off and just close their doors so people can HAVE 7 DAYS A WEEK OFF hows that for class

well ive been there 10 years so if you are still sub contracted after 3 you are the simple minded one dont use working 7 days a week as an excuse for making mistakes we make just as many as when we are slow, point is we are still a strong company when many others have fallen, i say work and save while you can because tommorrow you might not be able to, and if you dont want to work i bet one of the thousands of people who have lost their homes and everything else in a weak economy will say move over ill work in your place and dont let the door hit you in the ass on your way out

Even for those that were put back on the 12 hour 4on, 4off we still have to pull some overtime. I'm not gonna complain to much bout it though, cuz it's good money and it will only last a few more months then we slow down. Last year sucked, they sent ppl home and laid off alot, plus took voluntary layoffs. This is a blessing for us, even though we are tired. Finally we can catch up on everything that we had to let go behind last year!

I dont know what you are talking about. what excuses for making a mistake? Let me set you straight, I do not help barrette out because i HAVE to have a job. I do it for the extra money. I do not work 7 days a week. I only go in when they need my help. In fact, I haven't been there in over a week.
As for simple minded, I'm working on my PhD right now. I bet you are just a factory worker yourself though, huh?
I just think that it is amazing that people like you (all of you) do not have the backbone to make your employers treat you any better than they do. I'm surprised any of my colleagues even want to fight for all of your civil rights and for your well being when you do not seem to want it or deserve it, honestly.. the way you all talk to people on here makes me sick, and also glad that I do not associate with most of the people in these surrounding towns.
Most worthless bunch of no good, uneducated, lazy, drug addicted, disease infested, smart-ass, tactless people I have ever met in my life.
I hope you all rot in these factories that you love so much. Because you are never going to get anywhere else with the attitudes that all of you possess.

just because you have a degree dosent make you any better than a factory worker, it only makes you, in your case anyway, an educated idiot, if you think there is any shame in blue collar work you are the one with no class, the majority of people at barrette are hardworking honest decent people who are not afraid of hardwork so how dare someone who obivioulsy isnt even needed there try to tell them how to live and to work, i am proud of my law degree i worked hard for it but i am also proud of my job at barrette proud to own my own home and put 2 kids through college working two jobs, and proud of my hardworking barrette family. i also know but it not for the grace of GOD none of it would be possible, im no different than anyone else or better than anyone else and i am thankful that people who needs a job and money has a place like barrette to work, and if all this makes me a no class no good person then so be it i would rather be me than an uptight think im better than everyone else person like you why did you even start this thread you obviously could care less about the people at barrette

a mother raises her kids the best she can and if they don't embrace the vaules they was raised with that is their OWN stupid mistakes. Everyone knows that people does what they want to do even if mom has raised them different and trys to tell/show them what is right. Its not her fault but her sons on their actions. Has mom told you ladygogo it is not nice to talk about people?(easy to do when you can hide behind a commputer)

You said you were a Christian in this post. Doesn't sound much like someone following in His image if you are calling people that do work hard and long hours the things you called US. Yep, I work there and think we do have some great people. Yes, that's right, people. Not names you have called them. If you are in fact a Christian, please pray if you know what that is to have the same compassion for those that work hard daily. You could have an A.S., B.S., B.A., PhD, MBA, or more degrees than a thermometer but it certainly doesn't make you better. Please, instead of trying to debate or berate someone, give encouragement. That's what God's plan would call for us to do.

the post with the name calling and from "fed up with crybabies", are mistakingly put together due to quote problem and internet connection, if you notice the same first paragraphs are interlinked from "employee" who was doing the name calling employee never claimed to be a christian, the quotation marks are mistakenly removed post from "fed up with crybabies" i was refering to "employee" as a crybaby i never called anyone else names
