Bullheaded

Bullhead City, AZ

#1 Dec 28, 2008
I'm new to the area and I am hearing that the city water is suppose to be bad for drinking right out of the tap. It tastes alright and the creamer doesn't curdle (sp) and the soap seems to lather ok. Any info would be appreciated.

There is a debate about water. Yes the water in Bullhead is safe. Outside of bullhead water quality falls off. The main problem in the area is that the water is full of hardness. I work for a water company and I use a softener and RO for drinking.

the minerals in the water will mess up your coffee pot, if you want to see how good bullhead water is, look at some of the swamp coolers around town. this water sucks, you cannot wash your car, drink it, cook with it. however it flushes the toilet just fine, water tree's, thats it. anyone saying the water is fine has not lived here for any period of time.

i agree with rick the water does suck when i first moved permently to bullhead in 2001 i was drinking the water and let mee just tell you all i was so sick with stomach cramps and had a permant place in the bathroom. ive tried it again in 2008 and got the same symptoms our local water co claims that the water is safe an drinkable but il bet that they dont drink it.

and you would win that bet. in the water company building there is a nice cool refreshing bottle of water on a cooler dispenser. you would think they could just run tap water through the cooler. oh well it cost me $1.00 for five gallons of drinking water down the road.

lol, complain complain complain!!
Lived almost everywhere in the U.S. From the Northeast to the South and midwest and let me tell you from experience the watta in Mohave County is at least at par or of higher quality than the rest of the nation and that's a fact. If your interested in keeping your gums healthy try easing up on the sugar content , cut down on the doughnuts , sweet rolls , and snickers bars , it will do wonders for dental hygene!

bye now!

I totally agree with watta u nuts even though it was a light hearted comment. Know what swamp water is? That's what you get in Georgia! Not fun to drink at all believe me. Most of the south west United States like Georgia , Florida , New Orleans , Texas has a swamp problem. I visit Laughlin & Bullhead and the entire Mohave region sometimes for 6 months to a year at a time and the water is much much better than Georgia you can bank on that.
Just thought I'd chime in with a different perspective.

I say let them drink the water. It will keep the population of Bullhead down!
I for one have seen the disgusting swamp coolers. It also happens to our indoor faucets. I will stick to my bottled water!
