What a lovely, touching tribute to your brother. I wiped away a tear or two by the end of your column. I will add my "Keep him safe" prayer to yours.

Your words touch me. Remember that your brother has been trained well and so have his troop-in-arms.
I will pray that he along with the many others, come home soon.

I am also touched deeply by this article. I am grateful that you took the time to write it, pouring a little bit of your soul into the newsprint. I awoke this morning to bad news from Afghanistan and thought of your brother and his friends immediately. I thought of you and his mother. Good men like Steve do not just appear on the scene- they are the "Magnum Opus" of an entire family- a part of each member is over there, toiling with him. He is lucky to have such a sister- God Bless You.

I know Sue and Steve. They our both in my thoughts and to the extent it's comforting Steve is highly trained to do the job he was sent to do. He is brave and dedicated to the mission and his country. He has the love and support of family and friends. Above all we wish him well and look forward to his safe return to those loved ones and friends. We can't really choose our destiny but can only hope that we make the right choices along the way for ourselves and loved ones.
All the best Steve! We thank you for keeping us safe and God Speed!

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Gemini

You're blessed with plenty of tact today, so put it to good use. There's little to fear if you're getting together with someone who isn't always the easiest company because you'll manage to charm them into being pleasant for a change. Just to add some sparkle to your day there is likely to be an amusing flirtation with a certain person.
